We went there for my brothers birthday dinner. The bread was regular sourdough slices which was nice. Then we ordered some entrees. I ordered the eggplant and italian sausage penne. Food was awful. Picture this: a whole plate of penne dipped in thick (as almost...solid) tomate paste (not sauce), pieces of eggplant and slices of sausage (not actually sausage meat, but slices of what would be a sausage you grill). Food is not real Italian, it’s rather Italian American, like it came in a can. I’m giving it 2 stars for the dessert, which was a pretty decent tiramisu.More

I stayed at the comfort inn and suites near the stadium and as I checked in I inquired about where to get a "GOOD PIZZA ", and I was given the menu for Gio's Pizza. Well after I received my order which I placed with...John, the owners son, which I informed him that my grandson wanted to come to NYC and eat "GOOD PIZZA", John stood by their food and service, and after receiving our pizza, I can honestly say that john did not lie, this pizza was SOOOOO GOOD, so we ordered another day and this time we went with the chicken wings, and again OMG, if we were to have stayed longer, this is where we would have eaten. My grandson has already planned to return and order more from this restaurant. Thank you john for feeding us with the BEST PIZZA that I have had.👍👍👍👍🍕🍕🍕🥗🥗🍗🍗, I don't have a chicken wing emoji 😁😊😊More

The food is good, and the young Italian guy that runs the front is very friendly, so the service is nice. They deliver, and the menu is pretty expansive for the size of this small restaurant. There’s about 4-5 tables to dine in if you...want as well, but considering how small it is, i only recommend it for a group of three or less just grabbing a quick bite to eat. My go to food is a plain slice, a chicken calzone, zeppolies, or a Sicilian slice.More
