Stopped in with the family without any reservations. We waited about five minutes and they found a table for us inside. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We got chicken Parmesan, shrimp scampi and eggplant rolatini. All were very well prepared and delicious. Service...was excellent. Highly recommended.More

Went to Antonio's for the first time today, Oct. 10, 2020, with a friend who likes the place from previous years. She had a spinach tortellini soup which she liked very much. For $8.00 it was a good value according to her and it looked...substantial. For my part I ordered a sausage, peppers and onion hero. You got a large hero loaf but the sausage, peppers and onions were only mildly tasty. Most of all the sausage was not of good quality. It was tough and I had to remove some of the slices from my mouth while eating. Seems a shame the restaurant doesn't get better sausage in the Belmont Section of the Bronx.More

Another COVID 19 delivery. I ordered Borgatti’s cheese ravioli, rotini filleto Di pomodoro, and potato coquettes. The potato coquettes are crispy outside, yet hot and soft inside. A great little snack. The cheese ravioli is cheesy and covered in rich marinara. The most complex and...tasty dish was the rotini filleto Di pomodoro. The pasta was in tomato basil sauce and prosciutto. It was so smoky and deep. All of the dishes were warm and filling. Would definitely try this place again.More

If you have not eaten here before you must give it a try. Since it is not on Arthur Avenue most people don't know it exists. It is only a block away and well worth that extra two-minute walk! I have eaten here before with...my friends and hands down, the food is amazing. We always enjoy coming back here. On April 7, 2020, I called and asked if they will cater and deliver an order to FDNY-EMS Station 55 in the Bronx. I explained that I was a retired Paramedic and wanted to have a nice meal for all of my former colleagues, who are working so hard during this COVID-19 pandemic. I spoke with Alfonso (sp?), the catering manager, who was able to put together a great variety of dishes to satisfy everyone's palate. On Friday, April 10, 2020, the food was delivered on time and they even donated a few pizza pies to show their appreciation during these tough times. Everyone who had the opportunity to eat, enjoyed their meal. They really appreciated it!! The pictures say it all!! Thanks again to everyone at Antonio's for making an incredible meal. This will always be my go-to place in Little Italy of The Bronx!!!More

I have been to Antonio's on numerous occasions and had a fine meals but this time it was far from acceptable. We ordered a stuffed artichoke which was one of the specials for the day. The artichoke plate was so hot that right away I...knew we were in for a surprise. The liquid it was in was burning our mouths and the leaves were like mush. When we started eating it and the center was ice cold, my assumptions became true. 1. This artichoke was not freshly made. 2. It was microwaved to heat it up. This is the type of short cuts that below par restaurants take. Antonio's should not be doing this.More

Waiter had no personality at all - bus boy was more involved in meal. Hot antipasto appetizer was not well presented or prepared as all the different items seemed to mix with each other and share the same sauces. Dinner- Veal Parmigiana was overcooked and...crispy - not how you want Veal and beaten as flat as possible. Lasagna was good but tiny shallow portion for $25. Two shrimp dishes were good. NO salad as part of meal - that was a staple in past. Desserts good. The owner or Manager was friendly.More

The owner greeted us like family when we wandered in on a snowy afternoon, even though we had never been before. Chicken Scarpariello was great and very reasonable. Highly recommended

3 couples went to dinner here on 1/11/20 before going to the bar car night at NYBG. First you are enthusiastically greeted by owner. We had reservations and were promptly seated. Our server was not very friendly or attentive. 2 of us ordered short ribs...which were excellent. My husband ordered red snapper which was a special that evening and he said it was excellent. Another two ordered frutti di mare and said the shrimp was tough and some of the clams were cold.More

Enjoyed a wonderful meal at Antonio’s. Melissa was an exceptional server, very accommodating. Great bread to start. Nice wine list. The veal meatballs and the ravioli were the standouts. They make a great sauce. This is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant.
