This restaurant did not disappoint. The food and drinks were amazing. The ambiance was great and the live band was very entertaining. The staff were friendly and very attentive. Will definitely be coming back soon.
I came here to understand what the fuss was about and also to try their food as I'm a foodie. Their decor is definitely beautiful and their food was great but it did not wow me. The drinks definitely were good. My complaint is the...lack of service. Their seems to be a miscommunication between staff members and no one seems to know where their assigned or what their doing not whom their serving. First of after being sat down it took them at least 15 min to approach the table and see if we wanted drinks, once order was in our host comes back 20 min later and asks us OMG you guys haven't gotten your drinks yet! She knew it was way too long. Anyways this host of ours was impossible to keep track of. I have no idea how many different servers, waiters I had to stop because our table wasn't given any of the utensils plates that were needed. Like I shouldn't have to tell you we need plates for appetizers for a party of 10. On numerous occasions we had to remind her that we had ordered drinks and she had to go back and forth to the bar every time we ordered drinks because they just couldn't get it right. As far as dessert they never offered a menu nor asked if we wanted to order. We were there for a birthday and of course you always get one for the birthday person which we ordered but every thing was time consuming like wait 20 min to get 1 plate of tres leche to then order again another 3 plates because the server failed to ask if anyone else in the table was ordering. You guys really need to up your level of customer service if you expect people to continue to come back. As far as dress code goes you can literally wear whatever you want yet when you call they give you a specific dress code. We were way over dressed for this place. And I dont want to hear the excuse that because of covid you have limited staff. If that's the case then your restaurant shouldn't take that many people if you cannot handle it. The kitchen was fully staffed and they definitely made it work. Matter of fact the only one's that got things right was them. I really wanted to like this place.More
The food was amazing. The decor was impeccable (maybe im biased because i love sunflowers so much but thats the first thing that greeted us upon exiting the elevator. The service was good. We were a group of 4 the waitress rushed us a little...bit (but she was adamant about having the food ordered by 11pm which is understandable.) they had a live band play who was able to sing happy birthday to my friend. its definitely a great place to take pictures! drinks were amaaaaazing!!!! im already scheduled to go back in a few weeksMore
Recently celebrated a promotion with a group of co-workers at Zona de Cuba. The atmosphere, service, and overall experience were amazing! The rooftop space provided enough room for all to feel secure and physically distanced without diminishing the the ability to socialize. The food, drinks,...and staff left nothing to be desired. Highly recommended.More
Zona de Cuba did an EXCEPTIONAL JOB for a Surprise Birthday / Graduation party that WE gave for one of my Closet Friends. During this time of Covid19 we needed a moment of JOY and that is what we experienced. Pure Joy and Gladness. From...this one Party some of the Guest have literally visited the restaurant 10 times, yes 10 times in a month. So with that being said Zona de Cuba~ is Real Good from the Ambiance, The staff, and Most definitely the FOOD. Say Hi to the Chef's. The Food is M-M-M Good.More

Thank you so much for the kind words! We truly appreciate it, and look forward to seeing you again soon!
Confusing to find the entrance. Nice decor, I liked the character and atmosphere of a place, I respect and appreciate what they are doing here.
Live music !!!
Service has a lot room to improve, our waiter was attentive but food while for the most...part good have some basic unforgivable missteps on the spanish/Caribbean cruising - white rice undercooked and black beans under seasoned - we gave the feedback to the manager and his answer was “ I don’t eat rice and beans, but I will tell the chef” manager never came back to our table.
At the end of the evening close to 10pm went to the reception to pick up our coats to find nobody was there, waited 5 minutes then picked the coats up ourselves and left, those things will help to justify the price $$$ but there are still not quite there. I hope they will develop, the south Bronx can use a few more places of this caliber.More
I was at the restaurant on November 30th this year. The place is beautiful, the ambiance is espectacular, the service is impecable. I wanted to go for my anniversary, and although I called a week before to reserve, three days before the reservation taking in consideration...that none one called to confirm my reservation or deny I decided to call and they told me that I have to reserve two weeks in advance to go on a Saturday. I am very upset at this because I loved the place the first time that I went, and because nobody called with enough time to tell me that my reservation was not confirmed.More
Sitting and dining in a warm Igloo watching the snow come down was an out of soul experience, you can only see this in movies. It was like moving to Finland and vacationing in the mountains. After escaping the Igloos and the amazing diner (Oxtails,...rice& beans) it was back to the number 2 train and reality hit (Still in NYC) lol. I can only say if you have not had this experience you should. Love Zona de Cuba it only gets betterMore
This place is difficult to find but what a great treasure it is. The restaurant decor is beautiful and amazingly like being in Havana. The music is loud but the food is well worth it. I had the stuffed snapper and it was the most...tasty dish I’ve had in a long time. I can’t wait to go back.More
