We had some hits and misses but all in all a pleasant meal. We ordered oysters and escargot Brussel sprout salad which were tasty. The ribs ok but not to rush back for. All portions were ample enough to split. Service was friendly and efficient.

The beef was bad cooked.Bad experience at all.I don t know how they are well known in coocking meet because was my woese experience in USA
Filet Mignon mediocre. The ambiance was nice but it has changed over the years . The servers were attentive and friendly but in general not a memorable steak or what might me expected. It was busy and noisy
Inattentive and way overpriced for lousy food. It’s so loud. It made the experience unsettling. The waiter was rude. It blows my mind that the place is popular.
Apart from Carlos, our wonderful waiter, and a salad, our outdoor lunch, though in gorgeous June weather, demonstrated very poor food preparation. The first disappointment was a rushed poured beer where there was way to much head foam. Fifteen seconds of attention by the bar...tender could have fixed that. Carlos agreed and my second brewski was perfect. Then came delicious and generous crab salad. The serious failure of the lunch was the much anticipated lobster roll. The lobster portion was very skimpy and the chef missed a one inch piece of very hard cartilage. This gross unwelcome cartilage could have cracked a tooth or gotten lodged in some diner’s throat. The over $100 bill for the meal was not reduced to compensate for the inconsistent food and beverage preparation. Will return someday, but hope for better experiences as in the past.More
A total scene. Always busy. Great steaks. Ask for the burger which is always available but not always on the menu. The Harry Salad is my favorite salad anywhere. Consistently excellent.
We chose Bobby Vans because we could sit at a sidewalk table with our dog. The hostess who took my phone reservation early afternoon was friendly and delightful. Upon arrival later that evening, a different hostess greeted us, and she was unpleasant, bordering on rude....Luckily we had a great server- probably in his 40s or 50s with an accent. I didn’t catch his name between the mask and passing traffic. Very nice atmosphere. My husband really enjoyed his ribs, served with tasty, thin onion rings. My daughter’s Caesar salad was average. I don’t mind paying $36 for chicken parm; however, not only didn’t it come with a side of pasta or vegetables, but it was flavorless. The chicken was tough and the sauce acidic. I left unimpressed by food quality. I’d give it one more try and order something else— mostly because we like to bring our dog and few nicer places allow them.More
Our meal was amazing and because it was a Sunday we were able to take advantage of the price fix dinner which was plentiful and delicious!! My filet was cooked perfectly and the bernaise sauce outstanding. Staff pleasant could have been a little more attentive...but I would certainly returnMore
Bobby Van's is a great stop for lunch on your way out to Hamptons/Montauk. We stop here multiple times for the year and have not been disappointed. From the service, menu variety - we love the Lobster roll - it is well worth the visit....Plus a great venue and wine selection to go with it. Make is a point to stop in for lunch or dinner. We will be back.More
The prime rib special on Wednesday night was delicious, cooked well and a very large portion. My only issue with this restaurant is the noise level as the bar is not separated from the dining area making conversation most difficult.
My wife and I went there for a quick meal post college football tv. We were able to split the delicious Brussels Sprouts salad as well as a bone in sirloin, perfectly medium. Ordered the charcoal grilled broccoli and asked for garlic to be added...... no problem. Also had well made Hendricks dry martini up with blue cheese olives. Quick friendly easy dinner.More
Everyone comes to Bobby Vans for great food, generous pours and an INCREDIBLE Happy Hour that has $9 burgers and $2 Lobster Sliders. Host Joe Phair is the unofficial Mayor Of Bridgehampton working the room that's usually filled with Real Housewives stars and local glitterati....Don't miss the Crab Avacado Salad or any of the terrific steaks that are reasonably priced for the tony environs and better than The Palm (sorry Bruce) Don't miss it.More
Very crowded, need more waiters. Needs a new hostess! Hostess put paper on a table over the tablecloth. She used the knife on the table to cut the paper and put the knife back on the table next to the plate. I reminded her that...the knife needed to be washed prior to a customer using it to cut their food!!! Next!More
We stopped for lunch as we drive out to Montauk. The service and food quality is great. We enjoyed the Lobster salad sandwich and appetizers as well. Make it a point to stop when you head out east. The dinner menu looks great as well....We will be back.More
Bobby Van’s in Bridgehampton is the best one of this chain. Nice daily specials and a great place for a weekend Brunch. No wonder it’s busy both during the summer and the off season. Enjoy
