You cannot beat Cortese's for a wonderful feeling of family, fun, and friends. The food is always delicious, the wait staff are professional, helpful, and gracious. We always run into someone we know at Cortese, or meet someone new. It is great Italian/American cuisine, and the finest pizza on earth.......ok........exaggeration...... best pizza in America!!!!!! Take some friends and neighbors out... More

Cortese is a local gem. I have been going to this restaurant for many, many years. Recipes are consistent and I tend to stay with the home made spaghetti with a meatball and sausage. The sauce is very good. The plain garlic bread (crispy) is delicious. The salad and Italian dressing is also very good. If you like pesto (... More

I must admit that I had a preconceived not so positive belief about this restaurant. My wrong perspective was totally reversed. The dining area was redone and is beautiful, romantic and classy. The menu has many, many entrees, several pages of choices. I had the spaghetti dish with sausage and it was AMAZING!. Combined with the service and atmosphere, my... More

My mouth is watering just thinking about the food here. If you don't know where to start, get the pizza or the spaghetti. Both delicious and those alone keep me coming back. A family owned gem in Binghamton.

I only get here maybe once a year and I always get gnocchi. It seems as they are not fully cooked any more. The salad and Italian dressing are awesome, as is the dipping oil for the bread. But please cook the gnocchi all of the way,as that was my main reason to come.

We rolled into Cortese late on a Fri to meet friends for dinner. Our drive was extra long due to traffic and severe weather - so we were super hungry. Although the other 6 in our party were nearly done, we were greeted by a very nice server who provided us with drinks and menus and came right over when... More

This is, hands down, the best pizza I've ever had. I've been getting Cortese pizza on and off whenever we visit family in the area for close to 40 years, and it's still the best pizza I've ever eaten. All of the other Italian food is prepared fresh and never disappoints. Try their steaks "Milanese style" to have it loaded... More

We have been here several times and have never been disappointed. While a little on the pricey side, it lives up to it's reputation. The french onion soup is outstanding and the pizza has a large local following. You won't go wrong dining here.
