Place doesn't look like much from the outside but inside the food is good and usually the place is packed with people.

Yeah, It's been was February since last doing a working lunch at Chris's Diner. So, Friday Oct 21st was the day. We have a late lunch and therefore can linger and do our planning and designing and not be rushed out or feel we must clear the table. My lunch partner likes the idea of breakfast anytime and at 1PM... More

We ate there every morning for a week. We could have stayed longer but our travel time was over. And when I say we ate there every morning than you know it was good. May locals we saw there and we felt like one of them. Keep the home style going and we will be back gain.

Out of the way place where you can sit on bar stools and take in all the banter and expert food preparation, like cracking two eggs in one hand without looking. The tuna club was huge, pancakes the size of a dinner plate and hash browns perpetually parked on the grill edge.

Visiting our son at Binghamton University for the weekend- decided to try out a new breakfast place that had very good reviews. Chris's Diner was bustling- busy and loud. Traditional friendly service and huge portions of really tasty food- my son thinks that the breakfast sausage is the best he has ever had. can't wait to get back!

We went for breakfast before our trip home. Place is an oasis in the culinary desert that is Binghamton. Omelets were moist. Home fries were well seasoned and plentiful. Waffles were good as well. Service was prompt and friendly.

Hubby had one of the specials, which was a HUGE serving of lasagna and a nice, large side salad. The lasagna has I believe ground beef and sausage in it, so it isn't for vegetarians. The salad wasn't your average, out of the bag type. It had onions, green peppers and tomatoes, besudes the lettuce. His lunch was $7.25, very... More

Great breakfast with a local touch. We had a nice big breakfast, the place is family owned and very popular. Busy so service can take some time but well worth the wait

Was in town and did my usual look on TripAdvisor for a good, local, breakfast spot. This came up so we headed over. I wasn't disappointed. I had an omelette, home fries and toast. I was a member of the "clean plate club", and it was great. I always like these small, family run, places where it feel like the... More
