On a very cold night we went to Porters on the Lane in Bellport. We got a table by the beautiful, warm fireplace. We placed our order with a friendly, efficient and bubbly waitress Heather. The specials were great and the food delicious. The bartender Jesse was engaging and fun. We had a lovely time to end a cold gloomy... More

I thought the prices were high, food was not worth the money. I don't mind paying for the food if it is worth it. Well not here. Second time here thought to give it another try. I did, not again.

We had dinner here in this very cute looking restaurant. Unfortunately the food wasn't quite as good as expected, and you paid for the cute location. We had French onion soup, heirloom tomato salad, a lobster roll and crab cakes. Everything was just okay, while the bill was over $100.

Went here with my wife, daughter & son-in-law for Sunday lunch. The restaurant is located in what appears to be a stately old house decorated in the most attractive decor. There is even a neat outdoor seating area on the porch. But the real reason to visit is the excellent menu and the super attentive and friendly staff. We had... More

This is a local restaurant that has a nice outside eating area when the weather is nice. You can watch the foot traffic of Bellport Village as they make their way to the water or to Main Street. The food is a good selection but it's the wait staff that gets my review. They are welcoming, efficient and know how... More

We chose this because of the gluten free choices. The food was ok and service I found was a bit slow, seemed they didn't have enough staff. For a Saturday night dinner we spent almost 2 hours in here. I ordered scallops with truffle oil and I believe risotto. I did not like it, it had a strange taste so... More

My Mom and I were in Bellport and found Porters based on its curb appeal. I had one of the specials which was Cajun salmon sliders and they were excellent! It had just the right amount of kick to it and left a nice tingle in my mouth. My Mom had the salmon dijon lunch with spinach and potatoes and... More

Visited this establishment twice this summer. Beautiful comfortable atmosphere. Servers were pleasant and very attentive. New England clam chowder was outstanding on our first visit(late lunch/early dinner) creamy lots of tender clams. The second visit was a later dinner 9pm, the chowder was tasty but appeared to be thinned out. Other than that meals were great ahi tuna prepared perfectly,... More

A very nice place to have a good dinner, with friendly service, not overly formal and excellent choices for food. Everybody in our party had a different entree and everybody enjoyed it very much. We had a nice table which was quiet enough to allow for a good conversation. The food came quickly, but not too quickly (maybe a little... More

This old hotel has been turned into a delightful restaurant. Inside has two separate areas for dining with the wood bar located in the middle. The bar seats about 8 and is quaint with great cocktails. Outside on the porch is what we enjoyed most. There are about 8 to 10 tables where you can enjoy a meal or cocktails... More
