We have just enjoyed a super meal here with our son and daughter in law who are over from America. They couldn't wait to come back after the experience here last year, they are into good quality organic food and were very impressed with last years meal. We weren't disappointed, from the second that we stepped through the door until... More

Thank you Louise, for finding me a table for lunch yesterday, at the last minute! My family and I enjoyed the delicious food and excellent service. It was a perfect start to my Birthday celebration. Mrs Philomena Heritage.

We've been eating at the bell for 3 years and it used to be our favourite place. Service has hugely gone downhill since the change of management last year and now the food isn't as good either - even the famous bubble and squeak! We used to get a warm welcome and the staff always made time to chat with... More

It's a great location and perfect as a pitstop while walking the dogs! The Bell makes for the ideal place to rest the paws over a nice drink inside or in the garden when the weather is better. The Staff are always lovely and there's always a bowl of water for the dog too!

We enjoyed our first experience here. It was good solid fare, enough variation on the menu for most tastes. The service was quick for us and the staff were very friendly. This was on a Friday at 6.30pm. We'd come back.

This used to be our favourite go to place. Always freshly prepared delicious food and timely service. We waited 30 minutes for soup and sausage starter, and 40 minutes more for a main. We skipped dessert because of the time we might have to wait! When mentioned to Louise we were told it is freshly prepared food, we know, we... More

Popped in on a Tuesday evening and was impressed both with the quality of the food and the whole relaxed atmosphere of the place. Delicious haddock special and the venison were thoroughly enjoyed plus efficient service with a smile ~ we will definitely be treating ourselves again soon!

Great food and very attentive service, accomodating as we had a child with us that didn't want anything from the child's menu, instead they said that they would do a child's portion of roast beef. Definately go back again.

Exciting menu, we both opted for one of the specials; pan fried salmon with scallops, samphire and potatoes. Unfortunately they only had one left (the pub was pretty empty so not sure how many they have to offer). It was excellent as was my friends venison casserole however, we had to wait quite a while for our drinks and then... More
