Everything you could want from a village pub serving food. Friendly, welcoming, attentive and humourous i.e. great customer service, to accompany beautifully cooked, flavoursome and well presented food. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, thank you!
Wow. What a spread lay before us as we arrived for this very special evening. John (Cheffo) had the support and guidance from Weedons own expert in Indian culinary delights and provided a magnificent "eat as much as you can" meal. Of course this meal was made into an experience by the flawless front of house services of Carol and... More
We go regularly to the 5 Elms because the food is always exceptional - just won another award. But the Curry Night this week was just great. Place was packed and buzzing and it was eat as much as you want! Loved it!
We were treated last night to an outstanding Curry buffet served by the chef and his able assistants. The Cobra bottled beer, special for the night, went down well and the Thai sea food curry was outstanding. A great atmosphere as always. .We're looking forward to trying the latest additions to the great menu, and to other foodie nights.

The staff are very friendly and efficient. Overall a... More
Thoroughly enjoyed Sunday lunch. Staff very friendly, menu was varied, meal was well presented and perfectly cooked. The chef described how it would be cooked and how long it would take. Not just pub food. We will return.
We enjoyed a memorable lunch at The Five Elms: moist, tender duck in an orange and red currant (?) sauce that was richly flavoured but light in texture and absolutely delicious - I was tempted to lick the plate. My husband’s roast salmon was equally delectable, both dishes served with very fresh lightly cooked vegetables, and an excellent choice of... More
