Great service excellent food super friendly atmosphere. We choose this restaurant because of the location in regards to the church the christening was at. They handled our party of 60 with ease. We chose the Skirt steak which was tender and cooked well and was presented looking like a volcano. It was on its side wrapped around the mashed potato's... More

Like the Roman god Jano, Post Office Cafe has two faces. If you go to the bar you find the former: a full bar, nice setting, friendly barman and great ambiance. You can even ask your food in the bar. It may not be the greatest food, but you can enjoy the bar atmosphere. But if you decide to dine,... More

Been to a lot of places in NY since moving, and most do not have the neighborhood bar and grill feel except the Post Office Cafe. Been here on Trivia Night a few times and food is better than well-known wing restaurants, burgers are big with waffle fries, and food is cooked well. My only compliant is that the waitresses... We always try to eat at a local eatery once a week and the Post Office Cafe is a favorite. Local beers are a favorite. The Killer Mac and Cheese is to die for. The chopped salad is super yummy. The decor and ambiance is very Babylon.

I NEVER eat a hamburger outside of my own kitchen, and rarely even then. But a cousin told me I would not be disappointed because - here's a surprise - the hamburgers are cooked over charcoal. I ate the whole thing ! (It was large and I'm not....) Other entrees looked fabulous but no one wanted to share, although I... More

The bar area is lively and loud and fund. Young scene . The restaurant part is somewhat quieter, but still on the loud side. Food is solidly good.

We often enjoy brunch at the Post Office -- the wraps are delicious & the burgers are fun! Staff is always friendly and many locals enjoy coming here.

The Post Office Cafe is a great place to hang out with friends and family for some good food and drinks in a casual setting. It is run by the Lessings restaurant group. who are known for great restaurants. Stopped by for lunch one weekday afternoon recently. The restaurant is wide and open, with eclectic decor. The food is inexpensive... More

The bar is excellent. Great hangout place for all ages. Long waits for a table, even with a reservation. Food is New American and very good. Typical bar fair, but also lots of unique dishes. Meaty wings, to die-for mac and cheese, with or without pulled pork and good beer pairings. Service can be slow at times. Big place, very... More
