Not very impress with the food. But then again there are very few restaurants in the area being that it's in a small town. Prices were descent for the family.

The place has great food and friendly staff. Definitely a good place to stop for a meal if you are in town. I recommend either the chicken strip basket or a burger.

This is a quaint drive-in/inside restaurant. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is consistently good. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner all good. For a quick meal, this is a good place to go. They have a little bit of everything, from New Mexican, to hamburgers, to dessert they do it all! .

Ok, so it's an old, VERY plain drive-in where you can eat inside or outside via car-hop service. Food is basic/diner/drive-in food ... Burgers, steak-fingers + nice array of simple, but good Mex dishes. Very good bang-for-the-$$$. Doesn't compare to Laredo Restaurant & Bakery close by for Mex food. Regardless, overall this is good chow where you come fill-up the... More

We stopped here for lunch while driving through the area. We had their daily special of beef tacos. Good food and really inexpensive. Lacking ambiance, but we'd stop again for the tasty food and low prices.

This is a real family place, in fact when we left we felt like family. The owner Jovita was waiting tables, the food was amazing and the service was like you were sitting at Mom's table. This is a great place to stop and eat!!!!

This home town burger joint does all the usual such as burgers, steak fingers, etc. They also do local New Mexico dishes such as chiles rellenos, enchiladas, tacos, and more. My wife and I treat ourselves a lunch here every week!

If you want local food made with authentic spices and moles, this is your place. The staff is really nice and helpful if you have any questions about the food, as my husband did. I had the green chili stew with a tortilla and it was excellent.

If you are driving through Tularosa, New Mexico, do not underestimate one of the local restaurants. The Al-o-mar Restaurant on Central Avenue (Highway 70) may not look like much from the outside, but the locals know it has some of the best food. We stopped there for lunch because my husband was hungry for a burger. He got the green... More
