Awesome diner. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a great breakfast in an atmosphere slowly dying in America. Fast, friendly service, great food. My daughter killed French toast and a pancake and I knocked out a huevos rancheros. Will definitely stop there again on...the next roadtrip.More

Thank you for stopping in. We're glad that you enjoyed your experience and look forward to serving you again. Safe Travels and God Bless.
My husband and I did a self guided tour along Route 66 and had breakfast at Kix twice. Both times the food was great and the customer service was excellent! The large portions was a nice surprise and the coffee was great!
We searched for a coffee place after realizing there was not a local Starbucks in Tucumcari! This darling “Diner” was a perfect choice. Known for their huge cinnamon rolls, we were able to get three large coffees and one roll to go- shared by all...three of us. The cinnamon roll was made that morning and warmed for us. A perfect ending to our road trip through Tucumcari.More
Ok I was traveling to Phoenix and spent the night in Tucumcari just after New Mexico locked everything down for 2 weeks. Kix’s was open for take out only. I was looking for some Route 66 experience and found Kix’s. Just walking into the restaurant...to order was a marvel. Great atmosphere and the staff was cheerful and I felt like family. The food was wonderful. Exactly as I ordered, hot and melt in my mouth. I timed my trip home so I could get breakfast here again. Now on my list to visit when Mask season is over!More
