We stopped in TOC to recharge our Tesla at a late lunch time. I was hoping for healthy food and we happened upon Grapevine Bistro. My wish came true. The owner was about to close but he was happy to help us and two other...people that came after us. We all got to talking and it was a small town cafe experience. The food was healthy, creative and good.More

We were staying at the Riverbend Hot Springs for one night as part of our roadtrip and ventured out for breakfast the following morning. The Grapevine is a five-minute walk from Riverbend and what a great decision it was to have breakfast there. The owner...was very welcoming and throughout our time there he provided us with great conversation, but nothing that was overbearing and left us to it when we needed it. Coffee was very good, but the real stars were the two orders of huevos rancheros that quickly arrived that were absolutely outstanding!!! A perfect breakfast with wonderful hosts.More

We went to the Grapevine for brunch, and the food was great! The atmosphere was casual and we met other tourists who were eating that day also. There is a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in the whole town, which we appreciated.

This was our 1st time here, & my husband had the huevos rancheros, & I had the omelette. They were both delicious! The service was great. I highly recommend.

It was a busy busy morning we visited and although the seating was a bit crowded, you could tell this owner wanted to accommodate the growing trend in this tiny town....so we sat very close to others. The staff overall were very friendly and helpful....we...did have to wait a bit for our service, but hey people, that's the way it is sometimes....if you want fast food then go to you-know-where.. The food was very good - and we were happy with our experience overall.More

Enjoyed our lunch here yesterday. The club sandwich was off the charts with some of the best bacon I've ever eaten. We also really enjoyed the bean cakes. We will certainly go back.

Incredibly slow service. After waiting and waiting I went to the counter to try to order. Then the server came to our table. I did get my hot water but had to wait for honey. By then the tea was not really hot any longer....BF ordered the Ultimate grill cheese with ham and "home fries." At this point tables that arrived after us were receiving food. When it did arrive his looked good on the plate. He said it was ok but if eating here again would not order it. The home fries were BIG hunks of potato with a bit of crispy on the edges. I wanted to order the chicken salad. It was being made so nope. I just got a croissant but I did get to try the prickly pear jam. I am surprised that prickly pear jam is bright red, tasted like any kind of generic berry jam. I am not sure they make their own dough in house for the croissant. It lacked the flakey texture that I am accustom to. Later the server did offer to bring me a sample cup of chicken salad. I declined, that type of mixture is better once the flavors meld. BF got me an apple fritter for the road. I tried a little piece very full of apples, lightly iced and crispy on the edges very tasty. All in all, meh.More

Funky, fun little restaurant. Awesome service!!! Friendly people - both servers & customers. Seating is limited and you are encouraged to share a table. The migas were good but the pan fried potatoes I mooched from my husband's breakfast were great!! Spiced with rosemary and...I don't know what else but they were fabulous.More
