The New Mexico omelette is three eggs, huge chunks of pork, and cheese, smothered in green chile sauce. With potatoes and a tortilla, there's no way I'll need lunch! And at $9 including tax, it's a great deal compared to many restaurants that have raised...their prices a lot. I didn't rate it excellent because the omelette wasn't especially interesting and the chile I ordered hot wasn't that hot. (At least they give a *choice* of mild, medium, and hot!)More

The food here was delicious. The breakfast foods especially were bursting with flavor. Even the eggs/bacon/pancake combo really stood out compared to others I've experienced. In our 5 day stay, we came back three times and could have gone more. The dinners were also very...good; both the flautas and carne asada burrito were very flavorful and generously portioned. The wait was substantial though, so don't expect to get your food immediately. You sit down wherever, and they bring out chips, salsa, and the menu. The salsa is pretty unique but it really grew on us! It has a good amount of spice, so if you're not used to spicy, wait for your drink before digging in! From the time you sit down to the time you get your food, it's probably a good 40 minutes. But it's a nice atmosphere and the food is worth the wait!More

Really good Mexican food. Excellent salsa and green chili! Only drawback is they do not serve beer or wine. There were only two wait staff for a busy dinner time, but our waitress did an excellent job.

I kinda snuck in. So I sat down and the owner seen me. I met him earlier getting a haircut. The barber said it was good place to eat. All the food I ordered I thought was plated well. The food looked appetizing, was hot...and delicious. I had quesadillas (beef) appetizer and chicken fajitas for main plate. Nice and helpful waitress and price was great.More

This restaurant was clean and had a good menu with lots of lunch options. For a Mexican restaurant the food did not have a lot of flavour. Taco salad was big but didn’t have the spicy kick you usually get with the salad. Taco was...the same, it a lot of bold flavour. No hot sauces on the table so you could spice things up on our own. Food was ok but not great.More

The worst Mexican food I’ve ever eaten. Refried beans were a glutinous in eatable mass. Chicken enchiladas consisted of some chunks of chicken in an unidentifiable sauce dumped on top of three tortillas. I didn’t bother to tase the rice. The sopapillas were very small...and flat. Basically awful.More

After many years or global travel, I can easily say that this was the most deplorable excuse for food I have ever been served. I have never done an online rating prior to this but felt a warning to fellow diners was warranted.

This place was so disgusting, I could not eat my food. The tacos were pre-made shells, the beans tasted like they came out of a can and the rice was Uncle Ben's. YUCK!

We were staying around the corner at Sierra Grande and placed a takeout order online. Their online ordering system was very easy to use. We ordered fajitas and they were delicious! Order was ready on time and it was all correct.

We were happy to find a restaurant in town that allowed our dogs to join us outside. We started with chips and spicy salsa. I had the chicken taco salad which was good. My husband enjoyed a generous beef burrito in a very spicy red...sauce with rice and refried beans. The menu is extensive and decisions aren't easy. Our waitress was very good, although the restaurant appeared to be short handed.More

Visited the springs and was famished after. Went to El Faro and was overwhelmed by the food! A close friend and I had the Faro Special which consisted of the largest Burrito that I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen a few! Size did not deter...from the taste! Outstanding in every way! Had to split it in half and finished that evening. Highly recommend the food and the friendlyness of the ownership. Thanks, will be back again when in town.More

We were going elsewhere, and stumbled on this place. It is a great place. We had two primary school girls, and they were treated with great respect, along with the two adults. A burger, no cheese was great, lots of catsup for the fries. Chicken...sandwich, a grilled breast, was a big hit. Taco plate on point. I had the shrimp fajitas. I was expecting a few cocktail shrimp. No, there were at least a dozen big shrimp, cooked to perfection, as were the veggies. We rarely go to T or C, but if we do again, we will be going back. Service was timely, there when we needed it but not intrusiveMore

A local recommended this place to us for a quick lunch but it was anything but quick. They were obviously shorthanded in the kitchen and waitstaff, and that's probably because of Covid, but we were short on time and we had to wait about 50...minutes before we received our food (tacos, so it's not like it's a difficult meal), and that followed waiting about 15 minutes for the waitress to take our order. Every employee we encountered was very friendly and trying hard. The food was decent but we've had better. We would probably skip this place in the future.More

On Broadway, just steps from our room at the Fire Water Lodge, this was a great meal. Service was wonderful and our server even suggested we try both the red and green chili before we ordered. I liked the green! The staff were masked and...the restaurant was clean. However, many of the workers wore their masks under their nose and just covering their mouth.More
