The food in this restaurant is great. Plenty of food on the plate and free soppipias. Really worth your while to stop and eat at this restaurant. You get a lot of food for your money.

Soon as we walked in the door, we got the feeling we weren't welcome. Waitress ignored us, wasn't friendly, & was actually rude to most of us. She did not want to wait on us & she made it clear with her actions. They weren't that busy but she was nice & checked on all the other tables except us.... More

The place is run down, the service was very slow. I ordered something to go, it looked terrible, but it tasted ok. The sopapillas tasted good.

Sunset Grill's waiter, Byron Lucero, recommended the carne adovada. We ordered it in an enchilada and it was delicious. The sopapillas were excellent as well. Service was great and they let us linger as we were the last customers before they were getting ready to close.

We went there for lunch and had their combination plate. Fantastic food and great fast service. You can tell everything was fresh homemade. My wife asked for a sample of avadado. We ended up back there for dinner and ordered it. It was sooo good! The restraunt is set up like the old restaurants we had as kids. A friendly... More

The food here is good. Service can super slow, so if you are pressed for time, go elsewhere. Complimentary chips and salsa is very nice while you wait, though. Waitstaff is usually very friendly. Oddly enough, the fried fish is really good here. Wish they had coleslaw to accompany it. For some reason, fries are just gross...They are crinkle cuts... More

Food was good as well as the service. One of the few places open on Sunday evening in town. Glad they were.

While I can't tell you of succulent delights on this menu, I can say that it's a reliable source for something decent to eat. The burgers are substantial and tasty; I last had the BBQ burger that I enjoyed. It's diner fare, and that's comforting. There's also a senior menu with very reasonable prices for smaller servings.

This diner serves good New Mexican and American breakfasts. Portions are generous, and prices are low. Nothing fancy here but still a satisfying meal.
