Wanted a good diner in Taos and ended up at this place. We ordered cokes and we were brought two cans and two glasses of ice. We were also brought water and the glasses didn't appear clean which didn't make the water look very drinkable. When we ordered the burger special we asked that both burgers be medium-well. When the... More

We went here on the recommendation of someone from our hotel. We sat out side in the patio along with the dogs on leashes a pet friendly restaurant. (new for us) the are was a bit run down and the grounds could have used a cleaning. We should have left then. The service was fair at best but the food... More

My husband and I stopped here for lunch. Nice atmosphere (with outside eating, as well). We were quite pleased with our lunch. My husband enjoyed a bean soup that he said was exceptional. He also had the Caesar salad. He eats Caesar salads often, and said that this was once of the best that he has eaten. I had the... More

The spaghetti and meatballs were very good and the wine pours were large. The calamari was awful, but they took it off the bill no problem. The service was a little slow with a new waitress, and the bar side is disconnected from the restaurant side by 2 doors which lends to the waitress forgetting about you, I think.

Wonderful meal with beautiful presentation. We had the vegetable purée soup and the ravioli with cream sauce. Both were delicious. They have a large assortment of coffees too.

One of my favorite local restaurants here in Taos. Nice atmosphere, central location, good service, and the best spaghetti and meatballs I've ever had! Nice inside in the Winter and a pleasant patio in the Summer, in the front watching the world go by. Also, the bread was very good, that's important.

We just had lunch at Caffe Renato and all the food was delicious. The building was beautiful inside and out and you almost felt like you were dining in one of the beautiful galleries. Main reason I am writing this review is that the host was so gracious to us. We were walking with our Golden Doodle who is a... More

We were seated by a friendly new waitress. She shadowed our 'regular' waitress while orders were placed. Items ordered: BLT, pasta vongole (linguine with clams) and salad, spinach and artichoke ravioli in marinara sauce, Renato salad, and Black Angus burger. Separate checks were asked for – which we discovered included a 20% automatic gratuity. Guess we didn't read the fine... More

We sat outside in back and it was very quiet and the weather always perfect. I had the steak and it was great. Service was good too. The ice cream was great so don't miss that.
