I try to go to a spot several times before reviewing. Last night was my third time and like the other times I enjoyed the food and casual setting. My wife has vegetarian friends and she always includes Renato in her list of possible meeting spots for friends from out of town because they have hearty meals to satisfy everyone.... More

Trying to find a place to park and eat in Taos at 8pm on a Thursday night. Found a car par and this restaurant was the closest. We made a seriously bad choice. Looked okay from the outside in the dark, and to be fair it was clean and tidy on the inside. However, only two tables occupied. The diners... More

driving down the main street we spied a nice looking patio near the road front so we decided to stop in for lunch and give it a try. Even though we were on top of the street, the adobe wall and plant life made it feel as though we were not and it made people watching fun. The patio was... More

A large group of us went here on the recommendation of one of our members. The poor waiter seemed stressed by the prospect of serving 9 of us. He knew little about the wine selection. The food was good but not exceptional. A few of us returned the next day for lunch as it was very close to our hotel.... More

Wanted a good diner in Taos and ended up at this place. We ordered cokes and we were brought two cans and two glasses of ice. We were also brought water and the glasses didn't appear clean which didn't make the water look very drinkable. When we ordered the burger special we asked that both burgers be medium-well. When the... More

We went here on the recommendation of someone from our hotel. We sat out side in the patio along with the dogs on leashes a pet friendly restaurant. (new for us) the are was a bit run down and the grounds could have used a cleaning. We should have left then. The service was fair at best but the food... More

My husband and I stopped here for lunch. Nice atmosphere (with outside eating, as well). We were quite pleased with our lunch. My husband enjoyed a bean soup that he said was exceptional. He also had the Caesar salad. He eats Caesar salads often, and said that this was once of the best that he has eaten. I had the... More

The spaghetti and meatballs were very good and the wine pours were large. The calamari was awful, but they took it off the bill no problem. The service was a little slow with a new waitress, and the bar side is disconnected from the restaurant side by 2 doors which lends to the waitress forgetting about you, I think.

Wonderful meal with beautiful presentation. We had the vegetable purée soup and the ravioli with cream sauce. Both were delicious. They have a large assortment of coffees too.

Best restaurant in Taos. Inside charming Adobe house. Excellent food....from grandmothers old Italian recipes. Cozy atmosphere. Great service. Homemade cheesecake and desserts.
