World Cup seems like a local hangout - it's super small with limited seating, with lots of people coming in with their own cups and having interesting conversations with the baristas. It was a great place for an excellent latte and croissant. I'd definitely go back.

World Cup was one of only a handful of places open in old town Taos at 8am on Monday morning. Stood in line to place our order - yes, it was that busy!. Friendly, quick service for our coffee and pastry.

Consistently the best coffee in Taos. As good or better than any coffee house in Portland or Seattle. Better than Santa Fe's best. Owned by an ex-Seattle coffee person who really trains the baristas.

Tiny place on a corner, fantastic coffee. It was crowded with locals and there was a cheerful atmosphere. Get take-out and you'll really enjoy the beginning of your day in Taos.

We stopped here for a quick cup of coffee on our way out of town. This coffee shop offers a unique experience however, when we visited, the 12x12 room in which this shop occupies felt very cramped and did not lead to the most comfortable dining experience.

It was snowing and we were cold and wet. Stopped in here to get warm and have a cup of coffee and ended up staying for more than 1 cup. The atmosphere was great- its a small place but everyone was talking with each other. The aroma in the place was amazing and the staff was super fast and very... More

This place is AWESOME! Best customer service, and fabulous coffee! Locals love this place and we know why. Very friendly, and the coffee and snacks are fantastic! A Must Try!

We were on our way out of town and decided to stop for coffee. I got an almond latte with a homemade almond Danish and I'm convinced I just found a bit of heaven.

We got some really great coffee and awesome hot chocolate at this place! Plus the two ladies who were working there were really nice and friendly. If you want to stop by, keep in mind this place only accepts cash or check.. no cards (the trip to the atm is worth it though!)
