First night in Taos and I felt like eating some breakfast and stopped at this small place. It was busy which is always a good sign. I had the Mountain of love which is hash browns with chorizo and eggs etc... It was really good although I could feel my arteries hardening. A nice solid place to eat if you... More

In case you're confused by all the glowing reviews for all the restaurants in Taos and in case you are tempted to eat in a restaurant with lots of snazzy cars parked outside, keep this in mind: pack mentality and wooden tastebuds go hand in hand. But don't despair. Ricky's raises the bar for traditional New Mexican food. It would... More

Here's a great place for really great new Mexican food. Great menu, friendly wait staff, reasonable prices. I've been eating out in Taos for the last week and this is far and away one of the best meals I've had. Plenty of parking and a really nice little cafe. Highly recommended!

My son and I came to town looking for the most authentic Northern New Mexico food in town. We found it!! Food was fresh, delicious, authentic, large portions, and served with a smile. Only negative (wasn't a problem for us) is if you show at meal time you may need to wait to get a table or parking place. We... More

The food was alright. Some dishes were good some dishes were terrible. The signature hamburger was great. The sirloin steak was really thin and not rare at all as we ordered. Turkey sandwich bread was hard and overcooked and almost unedible. Tuna sandwich was pretty good but not much food for the price. The waiter, who was the grandson of... More

Mexican food was very good, sopapillas included with meal. Service was friendly, attentive, with a short wait. Ricky's is small, but worth your time.

Neat new happy hour spot recently opened. Along with cheap wine ($3) during 3-6 happy hour has delicious surpise tasties like the fried cheese polenta. Yum.
