This franchise can be wonderful or so-so. This one was good, had some interesting local flavor specials (red-chili peanut butter for example) but the visit was marred by the grumpy person waiting on us.

Smelt GREAT but offered nothing gluten free and never got anyone to wait on us so we left. Very tight space.

You can't go wrong with this chain chocolate shop. Everything is delish. They do have locally made ice cream as well.

Make their own ice cream and confections. No chairs so take your sweets across the street to the Historic Plaza, sit on a bench and enjoy of the historic area. If you like to watch wierdo, you are in the right plac. Quite safe for families to enjòy.

So my girlfriend and my 3 my three month old baby boy went to enjoy our first tree lighting as a family this year, we thought a nice addition to the setting would be some hot cocoa, so we go in and buy 3 drinks, everything went smooth, we go out and enjoy the parade, at that point we realize... Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is the perfect vacation splurge. After dinner on our first night we dropped by for chocolates. The big dark chocolate peanut butter cream cup was out of this world. That was so much chocolate that we had to save the chocolate pecan caramel turtles for the next evening. Thankfully our hotel room had a frig. The... More

We visit RMCF everytime we come to Taos. I have read some of the reviews here and can say we have never had bad customer service. A couple of times it was average, a few times good and even occasionally very good. I will, however. agree that it is very pricey. I always get a caramel or chocolate covered apple... More

Located on one end of the Taos plaza, there is a choice of indulgence by chocolate or ice cream. I chose the ice cream which was both fantastic as it was creamy and offered in a generous serve. The perfect end to a day meandering around Taos shops.

After wandering around the shops and streets around Taos Plaza, we came upon this chocolate shop and just had to give it a try. After sampling some of the chocolate - and of course there was New Mexico chile in some of the cocolate - we settled on a couple of ice cream cones that really hit the spot.

My wife and I visited to view the chocolates and also to buy an ice-cream on a rather hot afternoon. We were met by the most obnoxious and rude sales girl I have met in a long time. What do YOU want? We were greeted with. My wife asked for a vanilla cone for her and a cookies and cream... More
