Went here for coffee one morning. Taos funky front doors, very cool. Friendly atmosphere inside with many regular customers. Excellent coffee. Can be very busy with customers and drive-thru folks at the window, so service can get slow at times. Wide selection of overpriced baked items. They looked good, but not at the retail price! Overall, great place for an... More

Nice small place with cool woodwork and furniture. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lattes were good as was the breakfast burrito. Quiche was unimpressive and dry as was the lemon cake. Empanadas were doughy and unappetizing.

The coffee at Taos Java was very good. Great French coffee with an added shot of expresso. The muffins are not that good if you want to complement your coffee. Otherwise, great place and we will be back.

Taos Java is small, busy but pretty nice. The day I visited there was a man busking in there, playing guitar and singing. (Not very well in my estimation. The guitar playing was okay, his voice was all warbles.) I judge coffee shops on the basis of "could I sit here and write/work/read) and of course on their coffee. Taos... More

This little coffee shop has a warm, comfortable atmosphere. There are plenty of tables and spaces to work or relax. The beverages cost similar prices to other coffee shops. The chai is good.

Sorry but I had to update my review and only give them 2 stars because the woman at the counter is seriously always short with me. Also, she put too much chai in my cup this last time and when I touched the cap it burned my hand. Then she was annoyed that I asked her for a napkin. Another... More

The coffee shop is very small. Some tables quite large. The time I was there, I stood up, nobody invited me to sit. I finally asked a solo woman sitting at a four top by herself. She said that she was waiting for someone. She left shortly after with her laptop in tow. The coffee was mediocre and expensive. The... More

We had great cup of coffee on Saturday but when we returned on Sunday they were closed. They offer a locally roasted coffee. It is super clean with a really cool door.

They serve really delicious coffee in a charming atmosphere, and their pastry selection is tasty and immense. And, if you don't have time to just sit and enjoy the comfy seating, they are also one of the few drive-through coffee opportunities in Taos! The baristas are fast and efficient and they seem to make the coffee perfectly every time. My... More
