My girlfriend & I enjoyed a girls trip to Taos & we saw this restaurant & had to try it since we both love Italian. Sydney was our server & she did a fabulous job making sure we had a good dinner. We both loved...our food & were glad they offered half portions of the entrees we ordered. The mushroom ravioli was absolutely superb. The decor was quaint as well. We even got to meet one of the owners & hear their story. The only thing missing was hearing someone playing the baby grand, which my mother would have done if she were still alive. Please support this local restaurant. You won't regret it!More

Because of Covid restrictions I can't tell you much about 'regular' service but placing and receiving a pick up order was beyond simple and super fast. We started with one of their Greek salads which was enjoyable. There was a spice used on marinated vegetables...that I didn't find appealing but everyone else loved it so consensus was this was a good salad. Now the vegetarian pizza. . .WOW! Caramelized onion on a pizza? Genius! So many vegetables on a tasty crust with a delectable sauce I wish I lived closer to Mondo Italiano just for this pizza. Absolute perfection!More

We ordered pizza and salad delivered to our B&B. The salad was fine, nothing out of the ordinary, but the veggie pizza was covered in good veggies, especially a lot of broccoli, which we really liked. The large was more than enough to feed three...of us, even after a big hike. Next time I would specify no plasticware nor powdered cheese -- we didn't need them and I hate wasting stuff and I always wish places would ask before including them.More

Very good service !! Food was well above expectations !! Was disappointed that they allowed people to come in and wander around restaurant without masks ! They do have a sign posted that mask are required ! This is the only place I have been...that people without mask were allowed in.More

I wasn't too hungry and ordered just a cheese pizza. I was surprised at how good and flavorful this pie was without add-ons. Service was a tad slow but not extremely so. Menu was a bit pricy but other food items could be worth it...if they match the quality of the pizza I had. I would have this pie again.More

Simply WOW...the delicious food, service, fun for the whole family! We enjoyed fettuccine with salmon, Cali IPA beer, bread, spaghetti and topped the night off with gelato (ice cream)! They had a very busy night and let us know about the wait time. Then made...sure we had good service from multiple employees to refill drinks, clear the table, bring bread, offer extra cheese, etc. Kids are able to draw on the table paper, kids can put their "table art" on the wall in the Gelato room. Had so much fun here!More

Some of the best Italian food in New Mexico. They have expanded to a new southside two-story location with more seating. But don’t get there too late because it fills up quickly. Try the chicken Parmesan with Alfredo!

This place offers very god Italian food in a place that usually celebrates Spanish and Indian culture. We visited for an early dinner and to watch the NFL playoffs on one of their large screens. Italy has made great strides in improving its wines over...the past 30 years, and my glass of Falesco "Tellus", a warm inviting cabernet sauvignon, was great evidence of that. A green salad with red wine vinaigrette was crisp and tangy. The fried mozzarella was competent and well-executed, but not more so than one would expect. My wife's chicken parm came as a large piece properly breaded and fried, with a tasty side of pasta marinara, My seafood pescatore was a nice selection of shellfish over linguine in a tasty broth of tomato bits, EVOO and garlic. The restaurant also makes a tasty sangria, and has good specials for Happy Hour. We will return.More

The atmosphere is fun, lively, and good for families. The menu covers so many Italian choices, and there are hamburgers and daily specials, as well. We both had the cheesy garlic bread, which is excellent, and the lasagne bolognese, which was good. The sauce was...a bit salty, but the portion was generous. The waiter was not as attentive as we could have liked, and he brought the wrong kind of beer. He did take it back and correct the mistake. Sometimes, I find that waitstaff are not as attentive to older women, and that can be a bit disappointing, as we are generous tippers when the service is excellent.More
