Italian isn't the only item on the menu. A variety of dinners to tickle your palate. Service was excellent, food very good. Ambience a plus. Easy access. Reasonably priced.

Stella's is a wonderful Italian restaurant just behind the Taos Plaza at the head of Ledoux Street. They have a beautiful quiet courtyard or you can choose to dine inside. While small, Stella's food is big in flavor! Intimate dining with sweet touches like drippy candles in bottles, an antipasto table and pillows on benches. The menu is nicely varied... More

I thought this restaurant would be very nice from the pictures and reviews I've seen. Restaurants in Taos are usually very nice and have a nice authentic taste. This restaurant was nothing like that. The food was amazing. You can tell the cooks put great effort into making these great meals . But Taos does NOT need an Italian restaurant!... More

It is a nice little place. Staff is very friendly. It had live music when we were there which made it very pleasant. However service was very slow and the pizzas were ok. My kids pizza was fine but mine was a little bit burned.

Lied to and overcharged by OWNER, plus terrible service and bad pizza. Ordered a bottle of wine. OWNER served us a cheaper wine. He never mentioned the substitution. When questioned, he said they were out of the wine ordered. When bill came, we were charged for the more expensive wine. When we questioned it, waitress went inside and said OWNER... More

Felt like we were eating at someone's home. Very relaxed atmosphere, comfortable, good food, nice wine selection. Prices were comparable to the area. Nice change from 'new mexican' cuisine.

Perfectly al dente pasta. The carbonara was spot on, as was the bolognese. Enjoyed a bottle of prosecco, and finished with some fresh carrot cake. Husband enjoyed looking at the photos of several memorable characters decorating the walls. Excellent.

So, this is my third review of this restaurant. First off, the food was good. We had Coconut Shrimp Salad and Stella's Cajun Pasta. My husband was practically licking his plate -- loved the pasta. The service was acceptable and efficient, although not particularly warm and fuzzy. But . . . some places in Taos are just a little odd... More

At the Worldmark resort by Wyndham we were recommended this restaurant which was within walking distance of our accommodation. We had read about the long time waiter who at times could be 'gruff ' and we did meet him. To say the least he was a character but turned out to be a delightful man who likes wine. The food... More

Food was decent but not spectacular by any standards. At first glance, the place is overstaffed but i noticed that the service still ended up being fairly subpar. All in all it was okay, not sure if I'd come back. The chicken parmesan needed more pasta and was overcooked.
