The family visited for a birthday party. Service was exceptional - part of the 4 star review. All service staff were exceptional! Mom said Green Chili Stew was wonderful, husband reported burger was enjoyable, almost all meals were good but - don't get the enchiladas if you like really good Northern NM cuisine. They were bland, tasteless and dry.

Stopped by on a warm afternoon for a quick drink and to use the wi-fi. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a nice selection of micro-brews. I plan on stopping by for dinner soon

We grabbed a quick bite during a day trip to Taos. Calamari and steak salad were both good, as was the lemonade. The restaurant seems more bar than grill, with interesting T-shirts on the staff (hint: they glorify the beauty of beer and tequila). All in all, a good choice in a small artsy town.

Stopped in today for a drink (shopping makes a girl thirsty!!!!). I sat at the bar and was quickly waited on by the bartender. I asked for a draft beer recommendation and was happy with what he brought. I only had the one drink so can't comment on the food or table service, but enjoyed my quick stop and the... More

Ideally situated a floor up and adjacent to the Taos Plaza, this restaurant was a good surprise. Make the wait and eat on the deck to observe the comings and goings of the plaza area. Large bar, and very lively at night. House made chips and salsa were a notch above the day to day offerings at other establishments. Spicy... More

We were just passing through Taos and needed lunch. We parked on the square and walked the area and stumbled upon the Gorge Bar and Grill. What a great find. We ate on the covered terrace. The portions were enormous and the quality of food and service excellent. We couldn't have been happier.

The patio of this restaurant overlooks the square in Taos. It is a very nice restaurant with great food. My husband had a reuben which he loved, and I had salmon which was fantastic. The bar makes specialty drinks which are very good.

We eat dinner and lunch at this place when we are in Taos. Very good food, prices to match. If you are in Taos, this place deserves a visit.

We were seated on the terrace and that set the scene for a wonderful experience. The view over the historic plaza was breathtaking ! Our server was friendly and service was fast but we didn't feel at all rushed. Both of us had cheeseburgers and they were delicious. The apple cider slaw side was outstanding also. There were some English... More

Our party of 4 had mixed reviews of the restaurant. One person didn't like his steak but I don't feel like this is a "steak" restaurant. Turkey wrap and sweet potato fries were very good. Service was good. It was convenient to where we were at the time. Probably wouldn't return.

Description
The is a new restaurant which replaced Ogilivie's right on the Plaza in Taos. It is a casual restaurant, with a mune that reflect it's SM location, though is by no means "Mexican" completely. WE had a combinations of startes and salads, all of which are excellent; The Bison Sliders were supurb. The balcony overlooking the Plaza is a wonderful place to watch the activity in the Plaza - the only outdoor eating on the Plaza. They have a full bar, and excellent staff who are all very jazzed about being part of this new venture. It is a definite place for a simple but interesting meal.
