The is a new restaurant which replaced Ogilivie's right on the Plaza in Taos. It is a casual restaurant, with a mune that reflect it's SM location, though is by no means "Mexican" completely. WE had a combinations of startes and salads, all of which are excellent; The Bison Sliders were supurb. The balcony overlooking the Plaza is a wonderful place to watch the activity in the Plaza - the only outdoor eating on the Plaza. They have a full bar, and excellent staff who are all very jazzed about being part of this new venture. It is a definite place for a simple but interesting meal.

We had a wonderful meal here. Sat by a fireplace in the corner. The wait for our table was @ 15 min. and we were there on a busy night. Well worth the wait!

On a recent trip to Taos, it was past my normal lunch time so I opted for the convenience of the Gorge Bar and Grill right off the Plaza on the second floor. You are greeted quickly and seated immediately in a nice size dining area with a large bar off to the side. There is outside seating for the... More

We stopped and had lunch here. We both got a burger- man it was BIG! TONS of fries and they serve you with their homemade spicy ketchup. I had a special habanero margarita (I think that was the name of it) it was a margarita with hot peppers in it- it was soooooo great!!!!!

We stopped in to The Gorge Bar & Grill after shopping in town and had a fantastic experience. The food was amazing, the service was fantastic and the restaurant was clean. We will definitely be back if we make it to Taos again!

Gorge is an immaculate grill and bar above the Taos central square. Enjoy your choice of fine dining and drinks with a view - you'll find yourself comfortable and choosing from great items that are sure to please.

We enjoyed lunch at the Gorge. The food and the service were very good. There was some New Mexican fare, along with typical American cuisine.
