This was the first place we ate in socorro. The food was very good and they serve beer. The prices were very reasonable. Although we didn't try it is was told that they have a very good breakfast. They also have a drive up window.

Sophia's has the outstanding burritos, nearly any southwestern breakfast you could desire, in quantity at very reasonable prices served quickly and attentively. I was glad I ordered a single burrito, as since two would have been a serious challenge. These were smothered in green chile sauce with great taste. Others in the group had Huevos and Pancake Stacks. The pancakes... More

Blah... I had the carne burrito and was it ever tough. Big chunks of some unidentifiable meat and not flavored. The flour tortilla tasted store bought. I liked the sopadillos

My first visit was very good, with interesting/different and delicious New Mexican food. (By the way, I grew up in New Mexico.) This time, though, was a real disappointment. Maybe it was because we arrived less than an hour before closing? They offer breakfast all day, but my friend's New Mexico omelette was flat (not fluffy), her $3 glass of... More

Pretty standard menu. My wife had the chicken enchilada casserole which was OK but the sauce tasted like canned soup was used to make it. My chili rellenos were OK but one was burnt. Most folks seemed to order other food items so maybe the tacos and enchiladas would be better choices.

Limited selection of food. Pleasant waitress. Had a burrito, good but nothing to write home about. It was clean.

Came across this restaurant on our way from Cloudcroft to Santa Fe. We like to support family owned restaurants, when we can find them. We had breakfast, which was excellent. The place is decorated with family photos. Wish them all luck.

Visited for breakfast Sunday 9/25/16. Place is casual, bright & cheery. Promptly greeted and shown to a table (is all table seating with comfortable chairs). Coffee was good & came in a nice, heavy, white diner-type mug. I ordered heurvos rancheros, refried beans and hash browns - very, very good except for the hash browns, they could have used some... This place was very busy. The service was fast and friendly. The prices were very cheap and you got a ton of food.
