Food was average. Service started slow and got slower even though the restaurant was not busy. The kitchen put cheese on the salad even though the server noted no cheese. The kitchen then served us the same salad after having done a poor job of scraping off the offending cheese. Never was served my beer. I don't understand how this... More

I was told this place was known for their hand-tossed pizza... definitely not disappointed. You can order the smaller, about 9" or larger, about 12" with a variety of toppings. I had a wild mushroom, and the pizza arrived with the entire pie covered in a variety of "shrooms" from edge to edge. The pie can serve two if having... More

Return visit to see if the restaurant maintained consistency. It has. A really nice selection of beers on tap and good selection of really great lunches. Excellent, fresh salad, Pastrami sandwich with incredible pastrami and "chipped" sauerkraut. Grilled green beans were great - remaining crunch and mesquite aftertaste. Worth the 90 minute drive from Albuquerque.

Good service. Good food. Good location. They were out of root beer which was a disappointment. I had the lasagna which was fantastic, although not completely heated in the middle.

After visiting the VLA and heading back towards Albuquerque I spotted this brew house in Socorro and it was a very pleasant surprise. The beer was outstanding and the food and service were great as well. If you are ever on I-25 going North or south near Socorro, stop by and you too will enjoy the place.

This was a pleasant surprise during our drive through Socorro. My husband and I each had a wood-fired pizza. Very good. It was a Saturday night, and it looked like a band was setting up for the evening.

We ate here on a Saturday when passing through Socorro and were a bit apprehensive at first since this town isn't really known for good food. We were very pleasantly surprised. The hostess and host weren't the friendliest two people around and appeared to be more interested in their phones than the customers, but our waiter was good and friendly.... More

Coming from New York City, we were not expecting much. The Rubin was really good and their take on Italian staples was weird but tasty. Service was great and an extensive beer selection. Try the Chilli beer mixed with angry orchard.

The focus here is clearly on the beer, and many of the customers will be sitting in the bar watching sports on the TV's, but the dining room offers a somewhat more quiet environment. The menu is basic and the kitchen seems to be very consistentt at producing pizza and sandwiches. We've been here many times and never had a... More

We went here on our last day in Socorro before we headed up to Santa Fe. Has a great vibe. Love the first responder patches over the bar. I have to say I didn't try any of the beer, but the mushroom pizza I had was great. I unfortunately don't remember our servers name, but it was a gentleman with... More
