I had the two meat plate--beef and sausage. The bar-b-que was delicious but what stood out was the size of the portions. There was enough meat left over for two more meals. I have never seen such generous portions served in a bar-b-que restaurant.

Almost a 5. Very good, interesting place, even has a little gift shop. I thought it was a little pricy for the size of the meal but the meal did not disappoint

We had chopped and sliced brisket, cole slaw, potato salad, beans, rolls, and peach cobbler. The meat was tender and very good. Peach cobbler was very good also. Everything was good! I could have eaten more brisket and cobbler. Clean with fast and friendly service....New owners/managers as of April 2019. Will definitely eat there again when in town.More

Had chopped beef and sliced brisket sandwiches and potato salad and beans. All were delicious and the waitress even gave us some of their yummy sauces to take home. Will definitely go back just to try something else on the menu.

Haven't been too impressed with other barbecue places in town so we tried this today and were pleasantly surprised, I love the ordering method--very unique. I got the brisket which was DELICIOUS and so tender! My husband got the sausage and pork ribs and he...said they were delicious, as well. Opt for the potato salad (versus mac/cheese) and the slaw was great, too.More

Appeared the place had opened recently. Was greeted at the door and seated quickly. The waitress brought a sheet of paper we used to check off what we wanted. Our wait was very short before the meal arrived. They only have bottled drinks, no fountain...drinks with refills. Will probably visit on our next trip.More

A group of 5 of us ate at Circle J recently. The 2 meats that I ordered were good, chopped brisket and smoked turkey. The side dishes were not impressive though. The potato salad was bland... just not much taste to it. The Mac and...Cheese that others in my group ordered was a small serving and very dry... not much cheese. The staff was friendly, but the ordering process was very strange. You are given a list of menu items to check off for your table--- once checked off they took it to be filled. It was a little confusing and the time it took for them to explain the process could've been spent taking your order. When they brought your food, they had no idea who to serve each plate to! Overall the place was nice... clean and friendly atmosphere.More

Very dissatisfied with the tasteless slaw, souring potato salad and too salty brisket on a bun that was half hard, and not an ounce of homemade quality. Only interesting taste was the unusual green Chile hominy. If a restaurant is going to reopen an old...brand that was a landmark to our community, keeping the original recipe would have been a good idea too.More

Was sorry when they closed, even sorry more now they reopened! Ben going there 30 years , brisket was dry , slaw had no juice , potato salad nasty no sauce for meats ! I never write reviews but felt I had to let people...know ! So sad, always loved it before. Previous owners wrapped meat in plastic and foil was still warm when I got home, sent with container of warm sauce , just plane nasty. Should have spent more time on cooking and less on remodeling!More

We tried it out on a Sunday for lunch. We had the brisket and ribs. Each serving of meat is 6 oz unless you get two then it’s 3 oz each. It was good but the dudes need some work. Price is right but if...you’re hungry get 2 plates. Everyone was nice and it’s clean.More
