You can dine-in or carry-out some of the best barbeque I have eaten. This is a no-frills place to eat inside or outside. They feature brisket, tri-tip, pulled pork, pork ribs, sausage, chicken and turkey legs, all of which are smoked to perfection. They also serve their own sauce, but I prefer to taste the smokiness of the meat!! Side... More

We always make at least 1 stop here when we visit Ruidoso. We were introduced to it last year during the Lincoln County Cowboy Symposium. We enjoyed it then and decided that we had to eat there again this year when we went down for the Ruidoso Art Festival. On our first visit this year we went in for lunch.... More

They had a nice variety of meats to choose from and good selection of sides. The cornbread was excellent, very moist and flavorful. The line was backing up and they did have more people come out to take orders to catch up. Really enjoyd the sausage the best.

Ate here after a long day on the road. The food is average, and the variety is good. There are no labels on the meats so we had to ask about a few items we did not know. Service is fast, you go to the counter, order and pick up after paying on the spot. I am not a fan... More

Awesome!! So busy with regulars.. A hidden gem.. Boy were we lucky to find this place, a parking lot attached (free) a restroom (I understand it's next to the smoker) The smell as you enter is intoxicatingly great!! By the time you walk through the line checking out the product you will be hungry!!!! My hubby & I shared Petes... More

We ordered two sandwiches only nothing else and came out $20 poorer. Not used to that. In Texas, we can get some sides and a drink for that!

If I had another place to go except the circle J, I'd go. We have found it to be very inconsistent. The help is disinterested in the customers it seems. If the owner is there it's better, but he can't be there all the time.

If you are looking for spacious, this ain't it! If you are looking for a tasty treat, squeezed in with other people, it's just right. The bbq is very very good and is memorable

What a bad place. Staff was clearly high on something. Meat was old and tough. Mac and Cheese tastes like Stouffer's. Potato salad undercooked. I could go on but, why? Avoid.

The building was amazing. The BBQ, average. Menu was confusing and the one employee that asked for your choices did not speak English very well.
