This place had the best male waiter I have ever seen. He made sure we got what we wanted for the best price. He made sure we were happy with our food and kept our drinks full. The food here was very good.

average food, terrible service. the pies are ok. we had the chicken pot pie and that was good, but the server always disappears after the order is delivered and never comes back to check on the table. this has been the case 2x that we have eaten there. service needs to be improved.

The food here is always very good, as is the service. When you come on Wednesdays, the waitstaff reminds you that is is free pie day. The pieces of pie are the usual generous size, too

Village inn is my favorite restaurant. Why? Because they have milkshakes! I know it sounds lame but I go for my birthday and treat myself to my favorite entree and a milkshake! The service has always been great and they have free pie every Wednesday!

When we arrived we thought we would have a long wait because the parking lot was so full. We were pleasantly surprised for a group of six. Over all that was the exception as the wait for food after order was very excessively long. Combining that with ordering iced tea and getting hot; asking repeatedly for sugar; getting eggs fixed... The Village Inn is a very popular place here in Rio Rancho. It seems to always be busy but you rarely have to wait in line. They can accommodate a lot of people at once. It is always a great place to have breakfast or lunch. It is affordable and family friendly. Graphics yourself a piece or a whole pie... More

Food was okay, it wasn't the best. I kind of had higher expectation, but it has failed me twice. I took a friend there for pie and coffee, and we waited for good 30 minutes before we got a menu, thank goodness we both had our cells.. once we finished chatting we could stare at our phones and share photos..... Every food item tried has been very good - the French Dip is best anywhere. Salads are fresh and interesting. The menu changes frequently but the "VIB" (Village Inn Breakfast is always there with a choice of four different items. Service is good and staff is friendly.

Dine in or take out your traditional American style eats. New season selections have my attention that make me drool. Slow service during rush hours but hot food every time.
