The live music was very enjoyable. We also liked our food. It's standard bar food for New Mexico, but it has a good variety. Also, they have some good beer selections. We thought that the entire night was definitely a good value for our money. Would go back!

First off, I wish I'd gotten his name. But the bartender was super friendly, and gave my boyfriend and I lots of tips on where to go in the area for sightseeing. We hadn't been in this car before, or to other places in Rio Rancho (new to the area). But this was on a Sunday night, a little quieter,... More

We used to frequent the Fat Squirrel often in the past. They had wonderful Corned Beef and Cabbage and Irish Stew. We walked in at 4:45 today and there were 4 other people in the restaurant. The menu had completely changed. (new owners?) I ordered the Fish and Chips as I had in the past. While the portion was huge,... More

The food and service have gone way down. The once excellent coned beef is now very fatty and tough, and the vegetables were uneatable.

During my visits, I've had wedge salads, fries and several types/kinds of burgers. I have always enjoyed my visits. Atmosphere and service are good. They have a full bar for those who wish to partake. They have an outstanding selection of draft brews, both micro and national brands. If you like IPA's, I think you would enjoy the La Cumbre... This is a casual, informal pub with great, pleasant service and delicious food! The nachos are definitely some of the very best anywhere, with real cheese and lots of goodies--be hungry or split one. Onion rings are also delicious; I've never had anything bad here. Also recommend the fish and chips. Really good food!

This is by far the best burger I have had in a very long time. The meat is grilled and the buns are also! It's a brioche bun. It is so fresh and tasty. My husband says the McGoldrich is very good, that is if you like green chile! The price is very reasonable!
