We love this steak house! Went there 34 years ago on our honeymoon, been back twice since then and eaten again both times. It's a fave in Red River.

Settled for a burger but the steaks looked impressive. Big servings. Not cheap, but what you would expect for a better restaurant in a resort community.

Always a good choice when you are in Red River. Walked right in and were seated. We remember the days when you would wait no less than an hour on Friday or Saturday. Delicious food and atmosphere, although the Building and decor, like most in...More

We were seated by a very friendly hostess and our waitress was really attentive. Hubby had the prime rib and I had the trout, both were very good, After we carried our drinks to the very small bar and enjoyed a wonderful duo playing some...More

We went early on a Saturday night and waited only 10 minutes. Love the decor throughout. Beautiful large fireplace in the entry area. Nice small bar (saloon part). There was a great duo playing in the bar that night and you could see and hear...More

We went in on a Thursday night and waited a few minutes for a table. Worth the wait! We had a cobb salad, baked potato and one of the best rib eye steaks in recent memory. The servers and hostess were very friendly and efficient....More

Eaten at Texas Reds many times. Proposed to my wife there many years ago (the old one). Steaks are great, staff is polite and helpful. Live music often and is good! Great atmosphere in this mountain town! Recommended!

This is not a large restaurant & they do not take reservations, so if you don’t want to wait you should get there as close to 3:00 PM as possible. It is not an inexpensive place to eat, but if you love steak, this is...More

We had a great night sitting in the bar listening to the live music while enjoying a burger! Wish we'd know about this place earlier!

I believe all the exotic steaks were about $30 but they were out of the elk and bear when we're were there the first week of January 2015. They had elk and buffalo burgers and I think they were in the $10-12 range
