We visited Red River NM on 4/1 and soon discovered this is a ski town and not much if anything was open. We chose Brett's Bistro based on the recommendation from the day manager at the Best Western. The restaurant's décor is very nice and somewhat upscale. My wife and I both selected the King Crab Legs and yes they... More

I went in for a cup of coffee and manager asked if we needed a reservation for the evening. We decided to take him up on the offer---glad he asked. 4 of us, 2 boys 11 & 13. My husband and I had juicy, tender, steaks, and the eldest boy had the "giant" crab leg! Our server helped him crack... More

Great food and service. The chicken fried steak was some of the best I've had and I'm from Texas!! Bread pudding was good as well. Left there feeling full 😊😊

We dined at Brett's last night. We had a large group, and they applied an auto-gratuity. Unfortunately the waiter took this as license to provide extremely poor service. One entree with a side item substitution was brought without the substitution. The waiter said he would bring the correct side, but never did. Overall our table took about twice as long... More

Unless you are a local, don't bother! We should have left when we were told by the hostess that she would have to check with the owner to find out if they had time to serve us. Mind you, only two couples were seated at 2 of the approximately 12-14 tables. What a joke! The restaurant was still nearly empty... More

Just down stairs at Lifts West, which makes it perfect for us. Great food and good service. Not a greasy spoon! Always make it a point to eat here more than once.

This was the best dinner we had while in Red River. Several people ordered the chicken fried steak and it did not disappoint and was huge. The crab cakes were amazing and probably my favorite item. Menu prices varied but it was nice to find something that could fit everyone's budget.

Best food we had while in Red River! I had the ribeye and my fiancé had the prime rib we were both extremely happy and enjoyed our food. It's pricy but definitely worth the money to have some good food. Must go!

We had the special, prime rib. It was delicious. The French onion soup was very good too. My husband loved his huge king crab too. Also had a great glass of house wine & a cold beer. Very nice dinner. Will return.
