Great for breakfast! I had breakfast burrito smothered with green chile, hash browns and good old diner coffee. We'll always come back.

The Oasis was recommended as a good restaurant for down home food. The service was very good and the food was just as good. In fact there was so much food that we couldn't clean our plates.

We stopped because of all the cars at the place, including police and several Game Wardens. Good choice, excellent food and friendly, efficient staff.

Tasty lunch. The hot roast beef sandwich was a good portion and good price, very tasty. This is a solid diner. My wife's fries were great. Anyplace that peels its own potatoes is worth a stop. Very good service, very friendly well worth the time.

Whenever we are in Raton we usually sleep late enough to miss the continental breakfast served at the motel which usually isn't that special anyway. We always head to the Oasis for a real breakfast of fresh eggs and the best bacon I've tasted. They also serve Mexican dishes which look and smell wonderful. The same waitresses are always there... We got the stuffed sopapillos. Took a long time. They were cold and somewhat doughy. But a charming little place that others suggest is a lot better than what I saw. Also, many of the local estaurants are closed, choices for a non chain meal are limited.

This restaurant is the real deal. The food is all homemade. The mashed potatoes are real. The waitstaff is very efficient, kind, and personable. There's nothing fancy or pretentious - just real. The homemade pie in the glass case looked amazing, but I was so full I couldn't even finish my chicken fried steak - also very tasty. Green beans... More

We got there just before they closed, but the staff was still welcoming. The place was attractive in a typical cafe kind of style. I love New Mexican food, but wasn't sure if this would be that kind of spot. After looking around, we decided it might be a more country kitchen kind of place, so we all ordered chicken... More

A funky restaurant that attaches to the motel office. Not large (number of tables) but the view out the windows to the north is very pleasant thus well lit, easy to read the paper or the menu. Excellent staff, good value for a delicious meal. I had a bowl (evening time) of pork green chili. Lot's of parking.

Nice place to eat. We had breakfast on a Sunday morning. Staff was friendly and food was great. My wife and I and the two kids all enjoyed the place and food.
