We've driven through Raton numerous times and eaten adequate food. But this time, using TripAdvisor, we found a fabulous spot, well worth going a bit off the beaten path to find. It's downtown, so not far--just not on the Interstate, which means too many people probably never know it's here!

Stopped here for a late lunch. Service was quick and friendly. Food was great! Snickers latte was delicious. Much better than the fast food places on the highway.

We stopped off for lunch traveling from Texas to Colorado. Thanks to tripadvisor, we went a little out of the way to try this. So glad we did! It's worth the extra couple of minutes. Three in our party had a panini. They were all great. I had the salad with cranberries, feta and walnuts. It was also very good.... More

Katie and Paula prepare everything on site... and it is a delight. They have a variety of yummy edibles for your coffee (or tea) to wash down and they have the big machine for making espresso, lattes and other popular forms of coffee. Worth a detour off of I-25 for coffee break... or even a lunch. They are developing some... More

Veggie panini was wonderful. Very accomadating for us when we ask for it to be on wheat bread. Pasta salad was excellent. Friendly service!

Found this on trip advisor, looking for something other than mcD's or sonic for breakfast. Off of downtown square area, dark roast coffee is quite good. Had the breakfast sandwich on sour dough bread it was excellent, also had the breakfast burrito in our party, sandwich was winner hands down. Nice staff very clean would stop her again.

My sister and I were passing through Raton on our way to Estes Park when we decided to stop for breakfast. We got there just after the doors opened and were warmly greeted by the new owner, Katie. We ordered breakfast sandwiches which were tasty and coffees which were hot and strong. We really wanted to get one of the... More

This is under new management. They have many more lunch options, and FANTASTIC homemade treats. Cinnamon rolls are so good, salads are great as well as the sandwiches. Good potions, and very reasonable prices. Have had the southwest style salad which was very good. French dip is very good. Breakfast pastries are wonderful, and they make them fresh. They cater... Pasta salad was olive oil type, not mayo type. If you like that kind it was good. Large portions, could easily share with kids as there was no kids menu. More of a coffee shop kind of place, but the food was good.

Decided to try out the Oasis. Based on reviews and the fact that it was only .7 mi from our hotel. Home cooking would perfectly describe this place. The home made chicken noodle soup was truly that, down to the noodles. We both had chicken fried steak with brown gravy. They were a huge plateful and rank right up the... More
