Great food, customer service, & WiFi. We are looking for a house needed food and to do some home research. Clea (our server) told us they had WiFi. The breakfast was outstanding & we had a perfect spot. Even had locals helping us with information on homes. We came back in at lunch after driving around. Clea helped us again,... More

While visiting the local church where a friend was displaying her artworks, she and her husband took us to this restaurant for lunch on the way back to Albuquerque. The service was outstanding. I had the Chicken Green Chili Stew, the best green chili I have ever had, bar none. The atmosphere is interesting and different. I'm from California and... More

This is an excellent resturant for breakfast. We were in placitas for the holiday art fare. Lots of food and prices very reasonable. I can rarely eat the amount of food you get in one order. French toast was average and bacon done perfect. The three eggs and chirizo scramble was excellent and they were willing to change tortilla for... More

Great affordable breakfasts. I come out feeling satisfied and it doesn't break the bank. The service has been very friendly.

We recently moved to Placitas, NM and one of the two restaurants in the community is Placitas Café. We have been there several times and have found some of the best NM red chile in the state! the green chile is good also but the red chile is rivaled by only a couple of restaurants in the greater Albuquerque area.... I recommend the Placitas Cafe for anyone wanting to eat at a local non-chain restaurant. We've eaten at most of the popular restaurants in the Albuquerque area and find the food at the Cafe to be excellent in comparison. We enjoy the unique style of the food and atmosphere in addition to the beauty of the local Sandia Mountains.

My husband and I are passing through and happened upon this place today at lunchtime. We sat outside in the lovely, warm weather. It is definitely a very casual, quirky atmosphere, but that's fun. The food was excellent. Get the blackbean cakes! We would certainly go back!

The food is good. The atmosphere is kinda quirky. The artwork on the walls is very interesting. In general, the service is poor. It seems as though they know who their customers are (or ought to be) and if you're not one of them, they're not interested in waiting on you. Too bad, because the food really is good.
