I had never been to Placitas before when I met a friend for lunch. It's a cute little cafe with local flare and delicious food. I had the red enchiladas while my friend had the green chile chicken enchiladas. Both were yummy!

The place to meet folks in Placitas for breakfast, lunch or dinner. John and Mike are the best for great service and their brand of humor😎 Outdoor seating is available as well, plus live music several times a month.

Our most recent meal at Placitas Café was very good. I had the Fiesta de Pollo and my husband had the boneless country ribs. Good sized portions, prepared very well at a very reasonable cost. Love the local art displayed on the walls, friendly service.

We're pretty lucky to have this as our local café. Southwestern menu with old favorites served with wry humor and attentive service. You can even get a yak burrito smothered with a great red chile sauce, or Spam, Spam and More Spam breakfast with eggses. Rotating specials like liver n onions (yum) and a great local beer and wine selection... More

You can stop by here for breakfast , lunch or dinner. It's always busy when we've eaten it, so it seems to be quite popular with the locals in this upscale village. Last time we dined here it was for a lazy week night dinner. My burger was tasty. My husband's grilled fish was well prepared and good. Service was... More

I was here on a Sunday morning for breakfast around 9 AM, and it was crowded, so be prepared. The food is yummy, and the portions are huge. Most main courses can be split between two people, or just take home great leftovers for the next day. Prices, considering the portions, are very reasonable. Our party of four ordered different... Excellent food makes this a favorite meeting place for locals, many of whom gather weekly for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Recommend the breakfast burrito, Leslie's Soup, and the salmon salad.

We are among the lucky travelers' group since our daughter and family moved here 14 years ago. We always have at least one meal there and wish for more. Located in the Homestead strip mall about halfway between ABQ and Santa Fe only a couple miles east of Bernalillo on highway 165, the cafe is easy to miss from the... More

Was here for breakfast last week and had the BEST green chili I've had in years! This locally-owned cafe is really a neighborhood place, but we occasionally drive out there from Albuquerque just because it's a lovely quick trip to the mountains and the food is reliably tasty. It is super, super friendly and the service is great.
