I was actually headed to another restaurant for brunch but saw Blades and parked, so glad I did. Brunch was delicious, waiter attentive and friendly, service excellent. I have friends arriving from overseas and I really hope we get a chance to drive north simply to enjoy this european flavored menu and charming setting.

Great restaurant. Great services. They always have great specials. Tonight they had sea bass. Prepared with loving care. Fresh and carefully seasoned. Unbelievable to get this great seafood in the desert. kudos to the chef

Nice patio with nice views. Very friendly service. Food was a bit upscale for my taste - I think it might have been French. But tasty. We had soups and salads.

I first found this neighbor gem several years ago and it continues to be my go to place whenever I have visitors. Great menu that changes often enough and superior service. Outdoor dining now that the weather is great as well.

This is my third time dinning at Blades .. I ordered a burger I had to send my burger back 3 times. The owner came to our table didn't know what to do !! The server went missing after that. When the server final did appear at the table it was to ask if we wanted to order dessert, I... More

Doug and I ate there last Thursday and loved it. We shared the calamari and agreed it was the best we ever had. My main course was the sea food and pasta. Absolutely amazing. Great service, nice ambience and reasonably price. About 25 minutes from Albuquerque but worth the drive. We are going back soon

Fabulous food -- everything that our party ordered looked and tasted yummy. Portions are very large, so you can either take home leftovers or share a salad and a main course between two people. The brie appetizer, delicious. The rib appetizer, magnifique. The lamb chop entree (3 large ones), oh so good. The steak smeared with horseradish sauce, A-1. I... More

I recently heard about Blades Bistos and although I lived in the Bernalillo and Placitas area for over 12 years. I was so pleasantly surprised to experience such fine dining in this region. My girlfriend and I had terrific service, fine french cooking and a nice atmosphere. We started with a Baked Brie Garlic fig compote atop luscious molten brie... More

North from Albuquerque - is a diamond in the foothills. Cozy dining, great food, great service. Menu mix of European & American influence. A friendly setting where restaurant and bar staff wants to know you by name. I look forward to my next visit.
