An old Mexican house converted into a nice place to eat. We enjoyed the chile relleno (stuffed pepper) and churros. Feel like traveling to the past.

This restaurant came recommended to us by a Las Cruces native. The ambiance is a bit kitschy, but the food, typical Tex/NM-Mex (NOT authentic Mexican), is great! The cheese quesadilla (make sure to get it with corn tortillas) was absolutely incredible, especially when paired with...More

God this place is a tourist trap. As is the entire area. But it is beautiful, so nice inside it's worth coming just for that. Service suffers from the place being a packed tourist Mecca. The food is not that bad but don't expect great...More

When we entered, we were greeted with the sound of birds. The decor immediately tooks us to another place and time.We sat in a booth near the back. I couldn't help getting up and wondering around after we had order. We could have been in...More

Great place! Neat place to visit, service was great, food was authentic Mexican and looked and tasted wonderful. Enjoyed the fajitas, the salsa was spicy and fresh. Would definitely recommend.

Their Skinny Margarita is perfect for anyone who likes a tart, crisp, not overly sweet drink. I got a number one combination and everything was exquisite except the mushy, tasteless tamale. The chile con carne was out of this world, especially incombination with a delicious...More

Best red burrito con carne anywhere. Colorado sauce is perfectly flavored and not too hot. Comes smothered with red sauce and cheese. The Guacamole is also consistently outstanding and fresh. When I have family or business travelers in town, this is where I take them....More

Back in the 90's we lived in Las Cruces and would always bring our guests to La Posta. We finally made it back for a visit ourselves and La Posta didn't disappoint! The food is still outstanding and the prices are more than reasonable for...More

We've been going to La Posta for generations. It's an amazing place - lots of history here. The food is consistently good. The flavor is great, although the chile could have more heat, but if you have out of town guests who's palates haven't been...More

I loved the ambiance ... it looks very classic. The food was ok and the service was not very warm/helpful, unfortunately.

The streets are very narrow, to several blocks away. You may have to park on Mesiila off I-10, 4-6 blocks away and walk in, to shop and eat

I don't remember seeing glutten-free items but I wasn't really looking. I knew what I wanted and just ordered flautas which were very good.
