Stopped for lunch and were glad that we did. Seated in the outdoor courtyard, weather was perfect. Ismael was our server and I can't recall the last time a server did everything by memory. He was lightening fast, attentive and accurate. I had a tostada compuesta with slaw and it was perfect. Wife had chicken fajita salad and her only... More

I first came here 43 years ago, and it's the same really good Mexican food and interesting restaurant. If you're near Las Cruces I would recommend finding this restaurant. The area around it, Old Mesilla, has interesting shops.

We have eaten lunch here twice and this was first time for dinner. Same menu but more relaxed. Is relaxing, good food, lots of local folks on hand. And you can build your own margarita if you wish. The history is interesting: where else could you dine that had hosted Pancho Villa, Billy the Kid, and believe it or not... More

I love this beautiful old local place. The environment is warm and the design is perfect for a Mexican restaurant.

The Mexican food is super, freshly made and delicious! I have a very weak tummy you and it let's me know if the food is freshly made or not. I never get sick after eating here. It has a beautiful setting and the environment is awesome 😉

Following a few errands in Mesilla, a friend and I decided to grab a quick beer. La Posta was recommended as the place to visit. The restaurant is comprised of numerous disjointed rooms that can make it difficult to find the bar. We were rewarded with a friendly and attentive bartender. We had a few sides to include tacos and... More

We have been wanting to have dinner at this place for a long time. We'd tried twice before, but we couldn't get a table without a very long wait. This time we took no chances and reserved a table hours ahead of time. I recommend you do that too. Unfortunately, it was pouring the night we ate there, so we... More

Good Mexican food. Would you expect anything less in Las Cruses? There are several other Mexican restaurants in the area that serve better food however they do not serve alcohol. Margaritas were good!

I have eaten here several times. Service and food have always been good. It is a great place to take out of town guests. Nice atmosphere and reasonably quiet.

Some friends were in town and wanted to taste some authentic but not too spice Mexican food. We took them to La Posta. We were impressed. The waitress took the time to explain the different dishes and the "heat" involved. We ordered and the meals were delivered forthwith. Everything was cooked properly and looked enticing and tasted great. Our waitress... More
