This was a very good steakhouse for dinner. Atmosphere was very formal and I felt a bit under dressed. The food was so worth it. I had the filet and banana's foster. They cook it right in front of you and was by far the best I have ever had.

Recently attended a party at double eagle. We had 90 people in attendance and everything went well. Food was great, staff was outstanding and the atmosphere for the holidays is second to none. Highly recommend for large functions.

This is one of the better fine dining restaurants in the area. The steaks are very good and the atmosphere is excellent. Save some room for the desserts. I can recommend this restaurant and I will return again.

We came for the brunch on Sunday(3 times)There's a good selection of sweet and savory dishes to choose from. The staff is attentive and the ambience is unbeatable, especially if you do like historic settings. It's Also nice to have a walk around the plaza afterwards.

I came here with my inlaws and husband the day before thanksgiving. They didn't have our reservation even though I made one several days in advance, but they sat us anyway. The service was not as good as usual. The steak did not have that much flavor. The lack of flavor has kind of become the norm.

My husband and I went to the Las Cruses Farmers Market & wanted to eat lunch while we were in the area. We headed for Old Mesilla which has several really good restaurants to choose from. We had not been to The Double Eagle for lunch before and thought we would give it a try. My husband had the Cuban... More

We only had a drink at this place but let me say that we tour the several beautiful and let me say interesting dining rooms one of which we were told was haunted. The décor was super cool...felt like old world country. The menu look interesting and the staff was friendly.

Great place to eat. We ate in the haunted room. The food was great. The chili relleno burger was big enough that we split it. Chips and salsa was awesome

We stopped here for lunch on a Sunday. They said they do not start serving from menu till noon. Had a bloody mary and Miller Lite, $10.75. Bloody Mary was excellent and beer was cold.
