The food was good and the place is absolutely beautiful! It's a little pricey but the steal was cooked perfectly. I got the butterscotch tart and it was just ok but the key line pie was amazing!

Beautiful atmosphere. Helpful and professional staff. Food was worth every penny! We will be back! Parking was convenient. In the middle of Old Mesilla. Beautiful and romantic.

Lunch at Peppers Cafe in Double Eagle Restaurant included Chicken Fajita and the best tacos I have ever had, the Crispy Shrimp Tacos. Tender shrimp, avocado salsa and really good sweet chili sauce. Great old setting, bright, many plants all around, and the soothing sounds of the fountain. Service by Cindi was excellent. Later this evening we ate in the... More

THE best prime rib ever! Unbelievably tender and flavorful. Aged beef, what a concept,ha. Our server Halle made our dining experience wonderful and the dining room was the cherry on top.

Our hotel suggested Mesilla as a great place to soak up some local history, culture and get a great meal. the historic town square gave us a walk, some culture, and the Double Eagle a fine meal. the food was excellent, and it distracted us from just soaking up all the wonder of this fine old home come eatery, service... We are traveling and decided to make a stop in Las Cruces. When we checked into the springhill hotel, a young man at the front desk told us to come eat at this place. No regrets! The food was amazing, service was outstanding, and the location is perfect. We walked at the plaza after our delicious meal. We will make... More

Seafood Friday (1st Friday of the month): Blue Point Oysters on the half shell, changing entrees. Prime rib Thursdays. New Mexico's only on-site beef aging room. Excellent food and service in old-time splendor.

To put things into perspective, we are from Dallas where food is GREAT, so this food is just "meh". But, if you are visiting and you want some NM "history" this place is interesting. If you are wandering around Old Town Mesilla anyway, it's a decent place to stop for a bite. But you can look at the historical building... More

We celebrated our anniversary here and couldn't have picked a better spot. The décor and ambience was amazing. All the meats are cured in house from 30+ days and they were delicious, flavorful and melt in your mouth. The sides complimented the steaks. Make sure to save room for the Bananas Foster that is made tableside.. Amazingly delicious.
