Dinner prices are high for what you get. The food was good but you would be better off going to a local steakhouse for the price.

We eat here once a month when we are in town! Here is the good parts great atmosphere, nice wait staff, Great tortilla soup, good steaks, nice selection of wine, great salads. Needs improvement on selection of food. Shrimp dish is okay but not worth expense. What happened to the corn bread in the dish?

The wait staff is attentive and one wants for nothing. The food is excellent and is pleasing to look at. Who knew breakfast could be so fancy!?

We ate at Wendells and again we were disappointed. We asked for a desciption on an item and all the guy could say was" that it is just as it says on the menu" I asked for a couple of more olives for my martini and he came back with 2 small olives on a paper napkin. they were not... More

We had Loaded Baked Potatoes for lunch and a good glass of tea. If you just order a side for lunch, it's not too pricy. That's all we needed for lunch before hitting the casino.

Wendell is named after Wendell Chino, the father of economic development for the Mescalero Apache tribe. The quality of the foods and professional service are sound syatements of his legacy. Try the prime rib.

I had made a reservation over Open Table. They are tech savvy and everything went according to plan in that regard. They had an excellent guitarist and he was so good that we wanted to stay and listen to him play. Gabriel was our waiter and he was very good. The pre wait staff was a little questionable. I had... Quality has bottomed out at Wendall's. We've been going here for years. Our salads were way overdressed. Ranch dressing tasted like mayonnaise, not ranch. Chicken Alfredo dish had zero flavor. Had to add salt. I never add salt! Pork was all grizzle/fat. Prime rib was blah. Service was mediocre. The view and the bread were the only positives about the... More

My partner and parents dined Saturday of Labor Day weekend. We'd had a fantastic dining experience during July 4 and were hoping for the same. The biggest issue on our most recent visit was the pacing - or lack of - of service. Barely seated, our server asked for our drink, salad and entree order -- all at once (a... More

Wendall's restaurant enjoys the great view from the hotel. Although they need to block off the rif-raf from outside trying pear in the glass doors at you while you eat (LOL). The food at lunch was great, Tuna salad and Fresh Fruit was more than I needed before a round of golf. Not many folks in there when we ate... More
