Their breakfasts make you want to “rise & shine”. Yesteryear prices ... example: 2-eggs, HUGE serving of great hash browns, 3-large strips bacon, & a wonderful homemade biscuit - all for $6.95. Pancakes are tremendous & bigger than a large frisbee. Lunches are standard old-time-diner...More

Not a lot of options in town for a full breakfast but this place fits the bill. You get a lot of food for a fair price. The pancakes are massive. We had a waitress who had just moved into town and she was probably...More

We went here for breakfast both days we were in town. The service was good, the food was good and the prices are more than reasonable. Also, the pancakes are gigantic.

Nice little cafe with some good food and friendly staff. The decor is somewhat antique and ads to the charm.

My most recent experience with this restaurant was very poor. The fries were soggy and the burger was overcooked . What a shame because it used to be great.

If you have lots of time on your hands then this is the stop for you. Service is very slow. Usually clean though. Limited hours and days it is open. Foods okay.

We lived in Magdalena for a few summers and this was one of the places for eating out. Lunches is what we went for (it isn't often open for dinner) and there is a good list of burgers and sandwiches. Check the board for specials,...More

Had burgers here twice. Good food! You have to look for hours open as they are not always available...what you would expect from a very small town.

We went for lunch after leaving the Very Large Array. We arrived at 1:15 and they closed at 1:30 but they welcomed us graciously. Two more tables arrived after us! I had the smothered hamburger steak with both red and green chile and cheese. The...More
