Had lunch at the M&M on a Saturday during a late spring snow storm. Magdelena is not that big nor is it near any bigger city. It is truly out west. And the cafe is in the old hotel. With that said we weren't sure what we'd get. It was wonderful!! Very nice and attentive waitress and the food was... More

There's not many choices for food in Magdalena but this café is the best choice. We visited with friends who live in the greater Madgalena area and of course, know the owners, cause it's a small town. The portions were filling and the place is homey and comfy. Soups, salads, sandwiches, green juice smoothie drink that was like a salad... More

This little café just off the highway in Magdalena, NM offers up a tasty variety of sandwiches, soups and salads. The waitress was friendly and even accommodated our dog with a bowl of fresh water and a pat on the head. We had sandwiches and the soup of the day. Everything was fresh and tasted homemade. The service was prompt... More

There is a limited menu. Despite our having a restaurant.com voucher, the owner assured us that he was trying to get restaurant.com to remove it and perhaps had never even wanted his cafe listed. He is talkative and will tell you about the town (when no one else is there). He is the cook and has the help of a... More

This place is awesome! Homemade smoothies, soups, salads, desserts and great coffee-- this little restaurant is amazing! I just wish they were open more.

Needed coffee after a happy morning at the VLA. Nice guy came out with menus and said he would make us a fresh pot of coffee. We ordered peach rhubarb pie and a smoothie called veggies in space. Coffee was great, and food was good. Made us think it would have been a fun place to stay instead of the... More

This hot spot is in a small town but you still need to guess which of the three streets it is on (404 2nd St). Too bad there wasn't a sign on Rt 60. You'll find this restaurant as part of the historic Magdalena Hall Hotel and it is filled with old postcards and photographs. TIP: Freshest green salad in... More

This place is the best. You can't beat great healthy food at a reasonable price. Wonderful. One block off the main drag. Been there annually driving from Mesa to NY.

We asked loclas for a good recommendation and they gave us info on the two local choices. M&M is a block from the main highway. We were looking for healthy and found it. The staff was very friendly, sharing lots of info with us about Magdalena.
