We relaxed, had a beer, listened to music and ate some bar food. The food was good, but nothing special. The music was too loud for my taste, although I am sure that the other people enjoyed it. Service was poor. The cheesecake was very good. We wanted coffee with it, but they don't serve coffee!

We gave this another try. Food was better, New menus , Service better. Reminded us of old Mine Shaft Tavern. Old style decor. Has been in business many years.Worth a stop to eat. They have a patio which has become larger and offers music. They have specials and large selection of beers.

Friendly and attentive staff, good food, and you can sit inside or out. Try the green chile cheeseburger, it's good!

Nice large dining area on the main highway. Very popular and came recommended as the place to go. Agreed, that it was nice and the outdoor atmosphere was a welcoming place to see and be seen. However, the food was very expensive for the experience and it was just okay. The plate was full, so there was a lot of... More

Definitely start off with the fried artichokes. Small portions so we ordered two for a table of 8. Everyone loved what they ordered...rancho burgers, BBQ pulled pork, fish tacos. No one left disappointed. Sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air and then browsed the art shops nearby fun!!

Spent the day in Madrid with a friend. The burgers were delicious and the fries looked fresh cut. The cucumber, jalapeño margarita was fantastic. Indoor or outdoor seating. Our waitress Shelby was very attentive.

We loved it from the moment we walked up the stairs. The staff was friendly and welcoming, funny and warm. Everyone willing to help everyone. The food was fantastic, we had the Black Jack Burger...mmmmmm!!! Celebrating 25 years of marriage all year this year since we didn't get to go anywhere on our actual anniversary. Surprisingly good food. Service was fine we enjoyed the entertainment of a band setting up for a future evening gig. Folksy and friendly.

Madrid is such a cool little town. It continues to grow in style and popularity, art and music appreciation. This spot is not only the location of the Red Pony in Longmire, but an excellent spot to take in the views! We sat outside on the patio deck, quintessential folk band playing in the corner. I ordered La Cumbre stout,... More
