Arrived and husband asked where restroom was. He was told, "outside, around back in the Porta John in a rather "bothered" tone. We had 3 coffees, pecan pie, biscuit & Gravy, plus pecan ice cream. Food was wonderful, but VERY expensive. They have a pecan...More

I live a short drive from the cafe and really appreciate the freshness of the meals. Today I had cowboy hash made from a smoked brisket, potatoes and over easy eggs. Delicious. I also had homemade lemon with anise ice cream. Yummy. The staff is...More

I went after horseback riding in Cerillos. There is very little to choose from in Madrid. But, the place looked interesting. I go inside...it's kind of dark...a guy is on his cellphone....he tells me to read the menu on the wall. I go outside to...More

No menus. You're expected to read a board and know what you want to order prior to reaching your assigned table. Service is not so efficient or friendly. Waitress did not remember to bring our drink orders until after the meal. Meals not exceptionally tasty...More

Found this place by driving by and seeing two locals having breakfast. Dining outside is classic "Madrid". Huevos with red were done well and looked great but not to my taste. The cinnamon roll, even if baked that day, was average in my view. All...More

Got to Madrid and decided to have breakfast. This restaurant was only one open so here we are. Had several choices for breakfast most in $10-$12 range. Started with one of best blueberry scones I've ever tasted. Hubs got Big Breakfast Burrito and it was....More

If we had had another day in Santa Fe, we would have even gone back just for the green chili. As it was, we didn't so we'll have wait until next time and, meanwhile, savor the memories and flavors of green chili on a salad...More

We stopped in Madrid on our way to Santa Fe from Albuquerque. The food was very fresh. We all enjoyed our breakfasts and coffee/juice. Very friendly server. Will definitely stop here again!

in 2014, my son & I stopped in the No Pity café for lunch. We both enjoyed the soup & sandwich... We like the atmosphere of nice small town Southwest lost in the past... The lunch was worth the stop...Fred Willis Nigro, LSMO

Description
This is a small place right in the middle of Madrid, NM, and was recommended to us by a resident of Madrid. The food was incredible. Fine dining in the $7-11 range, and a very casual atmosphere. I would love to write a review.
