small bakery a little hard to see the building when we were driving by. a friend had told us about this bakery so as we were traveling we stopped in there and were we ever glad we stopped. The best hand pies I have ever...had with fresh fruit filling. they make the filling there at the bakery. We tried one of everything -it’s a small place-and were not disappointed. it’s a must do for us any time we are traveling byMore

You can't go wrong with anything you get here. The Tres Leches cake is delicious. The tortillas are fabulous.

Every time I try something different, and it always tastes great! Their cinnamon bread is to die for! If you are looking for a deal, try the 'day old' stuff- it may not be as soft, but it tastes just as good!

Since I live in the Southwest, I am familiar with Mexican pastries and was expecting the usual at Pedro's Bakery. But the tiny shop turns out every kind of pastry and bread you could imagine. The morning we stopped by Pedro himself was feeding loaves...of bread into a slicing machine in the front of the house, while his assistants were busy pulling goodies out of the oven and puttting them on cooling racks. They were all moving very fast, and yet the baked goods in the small glass cases in front were disappearing rapidly. I saw a loaf of cinammon bread and wanted to get a few slices, but they would only sell thewhole loaf, so I settled for some fruit-filled pastries and an enormous cinnamon crusted flaky sticky-roll. Pedro's is a temptation you do not want to resist when you are in Las Vegas.More

We are on a RV road trip to CA and friends that we stayed with in Raton told us about Pedro's Bakery. When we walked in the door we were greeted warmly, the bakery smell was out of this world and they explained every item...in detail. We spent time visiting with what felt like family, and bought nearly one of everything, and are eating the bear claw for breakfast as I type. We plan to swing by on our way home! Their cinnamon bread is their flagship item and it is amazing! As they said (having been in business 40 years): " Made with German recipes and Mexican hands - great combination! Worth a trip off the highway!More

Delicious, fresh baked pastries and bread, but check the hours and visit Pedro's early because they often sell out.

This is a father and son business. The son waited on us and was delightful. He loves his business, making a great pastry, and giving super service. ADVICE: We arrived around 9 a.m. and they didn't have much selection yet as they were still making...and baking things. I would strongly recommend calling ahead or not going so early. I was afraid they might be sold out of many items if we didn't get there early, but just the opposite was true the day we visited.More

Pedro's a is a fine place to have breakfast, if bakery items will satisfy your appetite. Empanaditas, great gooey pastries, wonderful monkey bread. Go for a pfastry treat and a cup of coffee. I. didn't travel more than a block from home toget here.
