I didn't expect much as I sat down. Most places attached to hotels are not the greatest. I had the special, Tilapia in a orange and blueberry sauce (fifteen bucks). It sounded weird, but why not. Then I had my first bite and almost wet myself. Wow, it was shockingly good. Everything was delicious. Bring your 'foodie' friends, and get... More

Followed the recommendations and was not disappointed. We had a tuna sashimi appetizer followed by salads, a special salmon entree and fettuccine Alfredo. The desert was a specially made sorbet. We also had the most pleasent server, Elizabeth who took great care of us. A wonderful experience.

El Fidel restaurant is attached to the hotel in Las Vegas New Mexico. We had dinner there recently. The decor is sparse and in need of sprucing up. We chose steaks that were medium-rare prepared perfectly. The side veggies were a spot on tasty thin sliced zucchini medley. Our potatoes weren't. The sweet potatoes were undercooked with a strong flavor... More

The food here is out of the ordinary for a town like this, but it is always quite good and shows some imagination in the kitchen. That makes this a good restaurant to better impress people in than almost any other place in town. The atmosphere, too, is a respite from the relentlessly Southwestern atmosphere in the area.

Great food we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely friendly. There was little to no wait for our order to be taken and the food to arrive. Would definitely eat here again.

Had never explored Las Vegas, but decided since we were staying in the town we needed to eat at a local place! Being a Trip Advisor freak, I found this restaurant and it was amazing! We both had salads that were made from local ingredients which makes it awesome. The staff was super friendly and pleasant even though we showed... More

I stopped for brunch over Memorial Day weekend while visiting the Las Vegas area. This spot has some great reviews and their brunch was recommended to me by a local. This is a very unassuming restaurant that is associated with the historic El Fidel restaurant. The inside is very basic, and there is a small patio area outside along the... More

All the dishes we had here, in 3 visits, were excellent. Would rate this venue the best restaurant in town.

We had the meatball Sub with house salad (which was excellent - it was lamb) and also the Eggplant sandwich with house salad. Very satisfied with the taste and freshness of the food; the service was also good. While we were there, it was not crowded, but there was a steady stream of customers. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

The only restaurant I usually eat in. Everything I have eaten there has been excellent. They also have a daily special. Brunch on Sundays is excellent as are the sandwiches that are only served at lunch
