I am in love with this place. The coffee drinks don't come cheap, as they don't in any specialty coffee house, but they taste superior. The fresh muffins and scones are stunningly tasty and fresh-baked. If you're going to be visiting more than once, be sure to pick up their complimentary "frequent visitor" card so you can get credit for... More

The food and coffee superb! Gift shop part is so interesting...can spend hours there! Not a lot of gluten free choices to eat but I did have a black bean burger salad that was wonderful!

We split the chicken salad sandwich and a muffin, which was enough for two. We enjoyed looking at all the items for sale--a variety of jewelry, scarves, cards, etc. There are tables and chairs both inside and outside. There is a unisex restroom.

I really like the gift shop, and they have all kinds of interesting and unusual things. However, my first time eating there was a little disappointing. The Chai latte was excellent, but there isn't a good variety of food, and what you do get is a small portion. The food was okay, but not noteworthy and definitely not filling. I... More

Great coffee in a relaxed atmosphere. Grab a coffee and look at the unique gifts in the shop attached to the coffee bar

This is an institution here so people flock to it. Foodwise it's clearly not about the food. Breakfast is institutional eggs, chewy bread, processed cheese....you get the idea. The baked goods are like sawdust bricks. The coffee and tea are okay but SLOW to order. Did I mention slow? The rest of the menu is sandwhiches, soups and salads that... More

One orders at the counter and the food is brought to one's table. There might be 8 or 10 tables and chairs. We had their chicken salad sandwich (with salad) -- it was tasty. We shared it. That and a day old muffin for $1 was a nice lunch for us. While it was being prepared, we looked at all... More

Always looking for that special coffee bar while traveling and this was a gem. Beans were bold and smooth and any coffee drink you desire is waiting for you. Staff was superb and fast in mixing your drink. Restrooms were clean and tidy. The store carried beautiful clothing, jewelry And art. You won't be disappointed

My wife and I had breakfast here this morning. I am not sure what that special sauce is on the El Effe but it is to die for! What an amazing coffee shop. Be sure to look around the gift shop while you are there. This is a great place to sit and relax!
