New to Las Cruces after relocating from Houston. Enjoying trying all the local restaurants and refuse to eat at the chain restaurants. Today’s stop was Miguel’s and another winner! We split the 3 enchilada plate + chips/salsa + 1 drink. Total was under $15. Good...deal and more than enough for both of us. Chips/salsa not complimentary like most restaurants in Houston, but finding that’s not uncommon here in LC? Was only $1.60 so not a big cost, but was a very small order. Salsa was warm which we love and chips were thicker. We prefer thinner chips, but thicker chips is more the “traditional” style. Mgr or owner (?) came to our table to introduce himself. Said he hadn’t seen us in the restaurant before and wanted to welcome us. Very nice touch and fitting with what we’ve found in LC with everyone….they are all so friendly and welcoming! They had a few non Mxn food options on the menu as well as breakfast options. GREAT find and can’t wait to come back for bkst!More

Went for our first time to Miguels and it didn't disappoint like so many other restaurants around here have. We are new to the area and whenever we move to new places, we binge out on EVERY restaurant to the find our go-back places. And...Miguels proved its way to the top of the list. As the header says the food is great (we tired burritos, mendudo, chips, salsa, guac, chimiguncas and beans/rice and it all was far above average and at a great value. right now they are only doing drive thru per pandemic rules in New Mexico; but the servers in the windows were very nice. We highly recommend this place!More

We had a good meal and a fair price. Not sure what happened with John. I ate the rolled tacos with their special sauce and the wife had the sampler plate. I enjoyed the salsa bar and the waitress was top notch. Typical Mexican but...I enjoyed the meal. Worth stopping by.More

Even though we are edging towards summer, soup can still be what you want. I had the Chicken Tortilla Soup which was very tasty. I had asked if it were spicy and was told that it was not. Well, everything is relative in NM when...it comes to heat in food. It was spicy from the red chile powder not the large pieces of mild green chile. It was actually a very good heat, but I'm not supposed to be eating spicy foods right now so it was too warm for that, ate it anyway. Service was attentive and the room clean and tables were clean. Nice casual little restaurant with good food.More

Late Sunday lunch. Decided to try Miguel's as we had never been before. Server was prompt and pleasant. For Mexican food it was fairly average, no real heat to the red chile. My companion's green chicken enchiladas didn't have any chicken in them. Food came...out of the kitchen lukewarm. Once served we never saw the server again, no refills on drinks. The one positive was the salsa bar which had a very good selection. Probably will not return with so many other restaurants with better food.More

This was my second time eating here, and I just can't see going back. The salsa isn't good, the food seriously isn't very good either. The servers are really nice, but Las Cruces has probably 20 Mexican food places that are better. I had the...green enchiladas. They honestly taste like they or the sauce might be frozen. It's too bad, I love to support local places but I also like delicious food.More

This is California style food. The enchiladas freaked me out. I think the drinkers at the bowling alley were keeping them in business. Heck, at 2 am even Denny's sounds good.

A very different take on Mexican food that what Las Cruces natives are used to. They used a salsa as their enchilada sauce. Spicy and good, just different.
