The name had us curious about the waffles and they did not disappoint! They had various creams to add on and our waitress brought an extra for us to try. Overall a great breakfast/brunch spot!

A food connoisseur’s delight in the middle of lots of Mexican food. Loved the non-salty specialty corned beef hash. The Pain Perdu was absolutely worth the 25 min wait! We had other menu items while waited and took the other half of it home. Reheated...great! The decor was lovely and the staff pleasant. We went twice for breakfast AND plan to return for dinner served Wed-Sun starting at 4pm. Owner’s take pride in the quality and presentation of food. They deserve your business.More

Our breakfast here was delicious and our waitress did a great job. We really enjoyed the French toast with bananas and my eggs Benedict (a good test for most restaurants). Could not choose a better place for breakfast. No fancy decor but great food and...service.More

Whooda' thunk one could have such a European experience in Las Cruces, NM. Outstanding benedicts and Florentines, and the best waffles you could ever hope to try. Dining room is charming and our server was absolutely dynamite. A most delightful breakfast experience! Yes, it is...one of the pricier breakfast options in town, but its worth it.More

When we arrived at the restaurant, we were immediately told that the prices on the gluten -free menu were not correct, and that everything would cost “a little bit more.” That should’ve been our first clue to leave, but the place had fairly high ratings...and we wanted to try it . After 45 minutes, we still had not received our food and we had only been given one cup of coffee. No one had come to refill the coffee or to apologize for the wait. No one seemed to care that we were sitting there at all. If they had been busy, I could’ve forgiven a longer than usual wait time, but they weren’t busy at all! It was very disappointing. The food must be fairly good for them to have the high ratings they do because the prices stated on the menu were pretty high. $16 listed for French toast. And the service was nonexistent. I guess I’ll never know.More

I had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. Then once seated waited 10 minutes with no server coming to the table. At this point gave up and left.

Second visit. We were worried that it would not as good as our memories - only 800 miles from home but we planned our trip to stop here for brunch. This visit was better than the first. The Leige waffles are great. The fresh fruit...is really fresh. We will be stopping again on our next cross country trip.More

My place to go for breakfast when I am Las Cruces. Their omelets and waffles are yummy. The menu has gluten-free choices. I highly recommend it!

Fabulous breakfast/brunch! All three of us had different items, and they were delicious- lemon mousse waffle, omelet, tri-tip Benedict. Good service. Nice, clean, casual atmosphere. Start your day here to fuel up, then head out on your adventures. You won’t be sorry!

Ate breakfast here two days in a row. Best breakfast EVER! Try the pain pardu if you are hungry, it's a serving large enough to feed 4 people. The liege waffles with vanilla cream cheese is devine! French roast coffee was excellent. Ask to sit...in Martin's section, he is a fantastic server and knows the menu. His level of service is usually found in a 5 star restaurant. Oh wait... this is a 5 star restaurant!!More

We just wanted a quick small lunch and though we'd try the Bite of Belgium. We hadn't been there for a few years so we were surprised to see the dining room under a large tent and the staff walking back and forth to the...main building. My husband ordered the Caesar salad and was disappointed by the serving size. It was a little bigger than a side salad, and definitely not an entree size. The salad was lightly dressed and instead of croutons, 2 slices of toasted french bread were included. He had to ask for more dressing and re-toss the salad. I ordered the side Pasta Salad after asking the waiter about the size. He indicated that it was served in a 6" dia. bowl, i.e. like a side salad. Surprise, the salad was served in a 3" dia. cold bowl or a lunch size hot plate. Laughable. Cold spiral pasta with black olive slices and 3 baby tomatoes. Service was okay. A negative experience for us.More

Pleasant dining room with plenty of parking. We ate breakfast. Ordered pain perdu and bacon waffle. The pain perdu is a moist bread pudding with syrup. Very large and shareable. The waffles were two, small waffles about 3”-4” wide with a whipped cream cheese dollop,...bacon strips and fresh fruit. The waffles were dried out. The replacement waffles were dried out. The blueberries tasted of chlorine. I asked that the meal be removed from the bill in a very polite way. The server agreed. But it showed up on the bill. Sad because the restaurant has such promise.More

Great place for brunch (or anytime!). Met some friends for Sunday brunch and had their famous Belgium waffle combos (some with dried fruit, some with bacon, and all with the famous Bavarian cream). All were delicious and the accompanying Mimosa’s helped make the experience memorable....Great wait staff (and even though they were short on staff everyone went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of). Just a short distance from the interstate so well worth getting off. Note: they have both inside dining plus a large tent area if you want more space. Either one is fine but be sure and enjoy the Belgian tapestries inside - it’ll make you feel like you’re in the old country.More

Driving from El Paso to Phoenix. Stopping in for breakfast. It was crowded, but not packed. The menu had a lot of options and variety. The liege waffles are one of the specialties. The are small waffles that are more cakey that normal waffles. I...had a breakfast combo (eggs, bacon, English muffin, and waffles). The waffles included Bavarian cream. They were quite tasty. The rest of the breakfast was very good - bacon was crispy, eggs were fluffy. If in Las Cruces - definitely worth a stop. N*joy...More

It’s Las Cruces so I’m not sure how closely the non cross contamination process is. I will say from everything I’ve experienced and seen from bite of Belgium if anyone takes it seriously they do.
